Here's a map
It's not like they're dying all over the world, a lot of the fish were victims of the weather it seems.
Regarding the birds and fireworks, I was reading elsewhere that fireworks might have sent them into a panic, they then flew into each other, I doubt that can be true for all of them.
Could also be one of those things where a couple of unusual, but not uncommon things happen, then suddenly the news is full of similar incidents that would normally go unreported and are only tenuosly linked.

In order to quickly and easily arrive at the culprit, we only need imagine who might profit from this situation, then we can all go raiding bulletin boards sneering at the sheeple.

I don't think that there is anything to get too worked up about until they can establish the true cause of death.
All this speculation, just adds to the hype.
What we also don't know is how many mass numbers of animals die every day to put into context how severe this event is.
The only listed cause of death so far is the hypothermia related deaths of the crabs in England.... no big deal.
The coincidence of the enormity of incidences on the date mentioned raises eyebrows for me, and I admit that birds falling out of the sky dead freaks me out, but mass deaths of fish happens all the time.
There have been indications that this maybe 'pesticide' related, but I can guarantee you that this is crap.
Pesticides related deaths on larger animals mostly work by affecting the nervous system (anti-choline esterase compounds).
I've seen poisoned birds on farms before (tragic actually), and they don't get off the ground.
Unless the bird numbers are in their thousands, and the fish are in their tens of thousands, I wouldn't include these fatalities in your 'alarm bells'.
It will be interesting to see if they do in fact publish a cause of death for those birds.
(spontaneous bleeding from the mouth during flight, is an unusual symptom).

Not sure if its been posted before but the same thing happened to Birds a few years ago in my home state of Western Australian in a town called Esperence. Most probably from lead poisoning (outbreak in the local port). http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/new...cle4381934.ece |

So the mystery can be laid to rest. Yesterday Chuck Norris admitted that on New Years eve he threw one stone in the air. This one stone is still making its way around the world. Chuck says he is deeply sorry for all the confusion and dead animals.

The Chuck Norris Thoery is acceptable and accurate.
This new evidence should conclude the thread.

Apart from the hyperlinks to the obvious (and to articles that actually contradict the narrative of the peice), it neglects to provide any info on the supposed GRU report other than what this chap Sorcha Faal says it contains.

There could be some truth to it, but probably not. Sorcha Faal = funny - did you read the story behind Sorcha Faal?
It makes for entertaining reading and gives you about the same level of real-world answer as anything else you will read on the internet for the cause of the death of the animals.
I expect mass die-off of humans any time now - but unfortunately, that is not a joke. These things are cyclical - Plague, Fever, Disease, etc... Sooner or later some pathogen (antibiotic resistant bacteria for example) is going to have a hey-day on a lot of us. Personally, I'd rather slip in the shower. |

Ah, the usual 'something happened - find more of the same thing to make a story!" thing. Large numbers of animals tend to cark it quite often - pods of whales beaching themselves, fish driven ashore by sharks, that sort of thing. I read in a bookon bird migration the other week that maybe half a million birds will die in Toronto each year, just flying into office windows at night.
Of course, if you want the real story, howsabout the hydrogen cyanide noctilucent clouds that are coming to get YOU (as well as birds): http://www.naturalnews.com/030996_bi...ole_shift.html
I have to go - my local supermarket has run out of tin foil again and my whole apartment block needs lining.
