Balls back at the heart of Labour as Johnson quits

The headline on the Guardian this morning.
http://www.guardian.co.uk/
Made me laugh.

That is all.

Heard on The Ten O'Clock Show on Channel 4 last night:

"Johnsons Out, Balls In"

"Why didn't Ed Balls' wife, Yvette Cooper, take her husbands surname? Yvette Balls could lead to misinterpretation."

No, not particularly.
I think you do ...
In most cases, if your partner decides to have an elicit shag, you just have to put yup with the humiliation and then deal with the fallout.
For Johnson, the position he had became non tenable.

I'm not a great Johnson supporter, but he did seem to be one of Labour's better propositions.
Hope his wife is proud of herself

There is however, a counter rumour that this is all to cover an affair he was having with a civil servant !

Re: Balls back at the heart of Labour as Johnson quits

Was this another undercover operation by the police against left wing activists?

Ah no, it was against a Labour politician, so not particularly left wing.
