Re: Syria - It ain't over till it's over

Something is going on behind closed doors, a lot of dealing.
Kushner is in and bringing others into Trump's cabinet. They are predicting a shake up.
Iran just signed a massive deal with Boeing.
Most importantly (to me anyway) Muqtada al Sadr, an Iranian related Shiite in Iraq has stated that Assad must step down.

Re: Syria - It ain't over till it's over

The false flag attacks coordinated by the CIA are what is common and a repetition of history, only a blind man wouldn't see that.

Re: Syria - It ain't over till it's over

Btw in 2015 John Brennan, then CIA Director, said in an interview on CBS that ISIS had used chemical weapons "in a number of instances" on the battlefield. By artillery.

See here for a list of chemical weapon attacks. The last one may be of particular interest:
"Kurdish fighters have been the target of a chemical attack by Islamic terrorists."

Re: Syria - It ain't over till it's over

Assad is a brutal Arab dictator, one of many. Guilty of terrible war crimes-maybe also of the latest Chemical attack on civilians.

Sadly - the alternative to his regime may be even worse.

That's the Arab Spring tragedy.

I agree Pashosh, but you hate Iran because Iran aid the Paleatinian resistance Hiwever, Iran is one of the most helpful forces fighting ISIS and Al Qaeda. They are the only buffer against the influencebof Suafi Arabia in the Middle East.
Who should Israel side with Iran or Saidi Arabia? Who have Israel had better relations with historically? Which countrrb tolerates more freedom.for Jews?

Re: Syria - It ain't over till it's over

Assad has been accused of gassing his enemies, many of them are with ISIS, whom are friends with nobody.

Sadly the situation will never change in Syria unless the leadership changes: too many people rely on the Assad regime for their livelihood. This situation arises every where there is a dictatorship, and life under Stalin & Hitler was excellent for some people, and deadly for others. The same situation happens in many countries today, it's just the degrees of oppression vary.

Unexpectedly Iran seems to be working hard to change the situation in Syria, while Russia seems to be making it worse.

I think the USA should keep out of the middle east, it has tried to bring about peace, it had almost succeeded, but has now failed. They will always be fighting each other, so why interfere? As Britain attempted to in the past, the USA sees itself as the world's policeman and sadly nobody is going to thank them for bombing the baddies or sacrificing their soldiers.

A "moderate rebel" killed 112 people yesterday in a suicide attack.
Did you see any photo of the victims in international media?
No, because the civilians killed were Shia Muslims and not Sunni.
Yet Assad must go.

"A "moderate rebel" " Do you have a source for this? There are some claims that allege the regime organised this to disrupt the "peace" process.

There are probably false flags on all sides, divide and conquer, meanwhile back room deals over arms, oil, gas and commodities continue.
Just like at who profits from the turmoil; not the children on the bus, not the children who were gassed.

Iran allows far more freedom than Saudi Arabia, so it is hypocritical for the West to bow and scrape to Saudi leaders while punishing Iran with sanctions, invasion and
other attacks under the guise of Human Rights.
The worst of the human rights abuses in Iran are not due to the dictates of Parliament, but are due to tribal pressure. Just as FGM continues in the UK as it is culturally imbedded. While Iran is threatened by the Westit cannot tolerate internal pressure in the form of civil unrest from tribes wishing to maintain their cultural practices. This is akin to the UK turning a blind eye to religious courts and practices- of all religions.
Watch Ahmadinehad rise to power if US pressure on Iran continues.

Thank you corrected!

Back to Syria- has anyone see the latest from the MIT professor, I tried to dig up dirt on him but he seems to be respected. I keep vacillating on this, first I thought it's the rebels, then its Assad, now I have no idea!
Is Theodore Postol credible?

Postol claims the shell containing the gas would have been seriously damaged if it was used as intended. He states that from the photo, the gas shell is only split and the crater was created by a locally placed bomb, possibly placed by the rebels themselves, http://www.ibtimes.co.uk/mit-expert-...s/yahoous/news
