There are some muslims that regard Osama as a holy warrior and holy man same as some regard Bush and Blair to be the same.
Let's not forget that both, Bush and Blair, claimed to have had some kind of "divine" call to wage a war against Iraq and Afghanistan.
Those people are brain washed or they do not possess a thinking sense at all.
You lost all credibility with "Blair" and "holy man" in the same sentence

Big clue would be what shot down the Apache. Was it Osama's henchmen or Pakistan Army
Has it been confirmed that it was shot down?

Pure speculation, but if a US military helicopter went down through natural causes (flat battery, oil leak, puncture, whatever breaks a helicopter) in a semi-unfreindly country would they just leave it there or would they destroy it themselves?

Clearly the death of Osama isn't bringing peace to the English Forum.
seriously, if EF was just about discussing trivial problems in CH it would be a very boring forum with much less members visiting here (and driving traffic and all the ads revenues )

I am going to "hugh" you again. I will give you this 5 CHF piece in my pocket if you can find anywhere on the internet, on paper, dead sea scrolls, whatever the use of the word "divine" used by either Bush or Blair in regards for attacking either of those two countries.
In return, if you don't find it, blogs excluded, you have to promise to "shut up", deal?

If they had time then they would destroy everything useful in it, which likely means the whole thing.

They'd destroy all critical equipment. Nav, Weapons systems, all that, blown to hell.

My suspicion is that it would have been a Blackhawk or Little Bird from the 160th SOAR. If that's the case, it was probably outfitted with some pretty nifty gadgetry that you wouldn't want anyone getting their hands on.

Why did they bury Osama's body in the sea ?
10 years long fight was atleast worth 1 picture!!!

ALL this looks very fishy to me!

article from the local Pakistani newspaper (dawn)

Another resident, Nasir Khan, said commandos had encircled the compound as three helicopters hovered overhead.
“All of a sudden there was firing towards the helicopters from the ground,” said Khan, who watched the drama unfold from his roof.
“There was intense firing and then I saw one of the helicopters crash.”
US officials in Washington said a small US team conducted a helicopter raid on the compound in Abbottabad, a military garrison town some 60 km (35 miles) north of the capital Islamabad. After 40 minutes of fighting, bin Laden and an adult son, one unidentified woman and two men were dead.
Sohaib Athar, whose online profile says he is an IT consultant taking a break from the rat race, sent out a stream of live updates on Twitter about the movement of helicopters and blasts without realising it was a raid on bin Laden.
When he learnt who had been killed, he tweeted: “Uh oh, there goes the neighbourhood.”
But it might take more to convince many people that bin Laden is dead.
One soldier on patrol near the compound said there had been talk before of bin Laden’s death, only for it to be proven untrue.
“It’s not clear if he was killed or not,” the soldier said.
There is a picture of him. He looks terrible. Considering the fatal gun shot wound to the head and all. Turn on CNN. Probably on at the Pub nearest you.

I'd need a closer inspection to make a final decision. Doubt that would be allowed. Now if I had a SEAL team . . .

Indeed. Osama and the Taliban have nothing at all in common apart from the fact that the Taliban presided over lawlessness and that suited Osama at the time (easy to hide). And by the way, they're all Muslim. The Taliban are Muslim, Osama was Muslim. They're not nice Muslims, but it's a bit weird to say they've been brainwashed or aren't thinking clearly because they don't think like us. I don't get it. They read the Koran, and read about the unbelievers and the infallibility of Allah and drew logical conclusions. Others drew equally logical different conclusions. It's all too simple to say they're "evil" or "bad". They believe differently than we do, and that's OK, and their beliefs interfere with our way of life and that's not OK so we have to stop them. This can involve imprisoning them or killing them. It's wholly unnecessary to look beyond that, to say they're definitely not Muslims, in case other Muslims who've interpreted the Koran differently get offended, or to say they're evil in order to give us comfort that we could never be like them, or to say that they've been brainwashed to give us comfort that there's an absolute right, an absolute wrong, and that they're absolutely on the wrong side.

Not as big a massacre as 'the war on terror'
Sure but they started it. And we were invited to build a military base in Saudi Arabia. Invited.

Taliban = students
Al Qaida = the base

I just had a totally different perception of a student camp, something more in the Spring break & girls gone wild direction
