They however need the body because they will give him a proper burial in accordance with islamic law. Plus they also need it in case people start to question whether he was really killed

I have a mental image of Obama having a "Things to do today" list on the wall of the oval office, with a huge red tick next to "Get Bin Laden" and "End the War on Terror".
Sadly there are still huge blanks next to "Stop invading everywhere" and "Secure my next term in office".
