Re: US gov. claiming Osama bin Laden killed.

I wonder if Pakistan sanctioned the use of US military helicopters near Islamabad.

The fact that Osama was living so close to the Islamabad doesn't bode well for Pakistan. He wasn't hiding in some cave in the mountains. He was living near a Pakistani military training base

the closer you are from danger; the further away you are from harm.

I agree with you. Obama had the intention during his campaign to fly into pakistani territory while in pursuit of terrorists.
Don't know if he extended his idea to wetworks.

  • Bin Laden's recent death was announced by the president of the United States.
  • Bin Ladens death a long time ago was announced by an anonymous person in an online forum.
Now, who is more credible?

Why did they dispose his body at sea. Makes no sense to me
Muslim burial rules, I guess.

Quote:
If it is feared that an enemy may dig up the grave and exhume the dead body and amputate its ears or nose or other limbs, it should be lowered into sea, if possible

I just realised how wrong i was, pentagon really cares about the world and osama was really dead on this air strike, US should keep bombing islamabad and maybe they will find Mullah omar also, they can keep bombing Libya and one day they might kill Gaddafi also and they should never evacuate Afghanistan and Iraq

Long Live USA

Re: US gov. claiming Osama bin Laden killed.

Is there any evidence publicly available to prove that he was really killed last night by american ? Why dont thy publish a video of the attack ? Why dont thy let some journalist view the body to verifie ? Do we all have to wait for the next wikileak thread to learn the truth ?

Re: US gov. claiming Osama bin Laden killed.

And those latest chart movers on Top of the Popshots this week:

#1 Up two places is Kim Jong-Il, North Korean disco beats from Pyongyang

#2 Stagnant at 2 is the Colonel himself, Libya's master of disaster - Mu'ammar al-Qaddafi, currently playing musical chairs in a concrete bunker

#3 Surprise new entry, straight in at 3 is Pakistan's Ali Zardari, housekeeper and restaurateur to the Northern Kalashnikov brothers clan

#4 Yemen in general, it's like Medieval Disneyworld, without the mice, ducks, rides, or quite frankly the fun, but hey, you gotta start somewhere - right?

#5 Dropping five places, and having held onto that slot much like Bohemian Rhapsody itself, his bin Ladenness. The record company has already put together a "Best of" trip down memory lane compilation and as a spokesmen says " frankly, we are relieved that we have some product to shift during the rather lean month of May...". Quite.

Be sure to stay tuned to Fox News for more "up to the date" bad guys "R" us updates....
