Edward Hardwicke (7 August 1932 – 16 May 2011)
I wasn't aware that Edward had recently passed away. For those who don't know him, he was well known as playing Dr Watson opposite Jeremy Brett's Sherlock Holmes. I know there are a few fans on the EF.

He was also in the BBC drama Colditz.

He died age 78.
