I find that map with the current position of the satellite highly compelling. It's like hypnotizing me, like the download speed bars used to do in Nasper. I could watch it for hours.
I need holidays.

Will the satellite bring a radioactive contamination that will cause the dead to rise??? | | | | | I would be more concerned with what might be hitching a ride on it.. an alien or two, slithering off snake-like into the bushes or into a dark corner somewhere, watching and waiting..
am going out before night time to buy more tin foil.. |

Crossing the Atlantic from Brasil and about to reach Mauretania - still seems to be quite high at 160km altitude, and still moving brisky along at almost 8 km/s (Mach 23) |

As for seeing it, will mostly depend on the cloud cover where you are, and how much light pollution (street lights etc)
I'll post a direction and elevation angle when it gets to best chance - just hitting southern spain now

OK, coming in from the south west and very high up - 80 degrees from horizon, almost overhead

Because of this whole thing I got to find out about Tyche, and stated remembering how much I love this kind of news.
The only way to end my week even better would be someone finding a new Egyptian temple...
*going to watch Indiana Jones movies while waiting for the next sighting*

This time will be from south-east to north-west so you need to look west round to north then north-west , with an elevation of about 55 degrees
due west now

Aww - missed it. Next sighting for me is around 3:40am! If it's still up there. The site below says none of the passes are visible but I don't know how it calculates that. http://www.heavens-above.com/PassSum...alt=253&tz=CET |

I might have a slight advantage by being in sunny Scotland at the moment, who knows? | This user would like to thank for this useful post: | |
