Re: Kim Jong Il has died

Wouldn't it be nice if North Korean officials would decide to feed their starving instead of pouring money into obnoxious funeral arrangements?

I know. Wishful thinking....

They probably are feeding the starving... but starving army comes before starving non-army...

Re: Kim Jong Il has died

The year 2011 is luckies year ever for the US gov. - the 3 big enemies of the US is dead in 2011 : Bin Laden, Gaddafi and Kim Jong-il. Has the US government let a shaman perform special ritual for that? haha!

The situation now is a bit different as the father Kim Ilsung died in 1994 - Kim Ilsung had designated Kim Jongil early enough, but Kim Jongil has had his heir only since a year and he died so suddenly, his successor hasn't got solid support from the internal military group yet. Lets wait and see what happens in the korean peninsula in 2012.

He was a great Jedi. Maybe if Darth Maul hadn't killed him Anakin would have gotten better training.
But I thought everyone knew he had died?

Man, I would hate to be the Bernese kid who was bullying his son for having a funny accent right about now.

They did shot a test missile into South Korea today:

The unexpected death has thrown the region into crisis mode- not helped by a test missile reportedly fired into South Korea from the North earlier today.

Good grief:

No pun intended!

Call me cynical but its probably for all international news sources to broadcast how the north koreans are grieving for their "dear leader".

kid you not, you could "hire" said persons for funerals in Mexico a long time ago. (1910's and so)

Yeap, in Asia too. For those with not many friends and family, you can "rent" bodies to sit around/send off the dead.

Hey - the West had Lady Di and Steve Jobs, North Korea has (had) the "Beloved Leader" (or whatever comedy-title he had).
