No, but they can offer real advice on what's real and what's not when it comes to computer safety, just as any other worker in any other profession can do.

Short version: It's not time to start shitting yourself. Yet. Edit: (simply too little is known at this time)

I'd worry more about the fact Obama has actually recently admitted Stuxnet was officially sponsored by the US and Israel.

Of corse this us true and good security consultants are worth their money. But condescending statements about postings in a scathing, derogatory tone implying that only someone who worked in the field had the qualifications to comment are uncalled for.

The people commenting on this topic may have a novel position on the topic, it doesn't mean they are automatically dismissed out if hand just because they don't work directly in information security.
