Maybe that is the solution to school shootings. Research if school shooters are really driven by small cocks, and then keep track of them.

Re: A shooting just happened in ( *fill in the blank * )

Obama is looking into leveraging his Obamacare health database, and compelling health providers to input certain data into the system. Total violation of doctor/patient confidentiality, but he doesn't care if it scores politically. Also, he doesn't actually have a criteria of what to look for. Yeah, he could ask for penis size at that point.

Really, without a ban of guns, and no way of identifying budding shooters, the only real viable measure they have, if they are serious, is to beef up security in schools. But that would be such a big loss of opportunity to score political points. It may actually prove one side or another inadvertently. Perhaps they want to see how many more children it would take to die before their political equations reveal some other insight.

A bit more about the new solution

Students Plan To Open-Carry Dildos Over Controversial Texas Campus Gun Law

Author: Joe Fletcher October 10, 2015 11:31 pm
More than 1,000 people have RSVP’d to attend an unusual protest at the University of Texas. In protest of a law that permits students to carry concealed weapons on campus, students are going to come to class wielding dildos.
After the legislation was signed into law by Texas Greg Abbot last June, protests at the University located in Austin have garnered national attention. The description for the protest’s event page reads:
“On June 1, 2015, Gov. Greg Abbott signed S.B. 11, also known as the ‘campus carry’ law. S.B. 11 provides that license holders may carry a concealed handgun throughout university campuses, starting Aug. 1, 2016. The law gives public universities some discretion to regulate campus carry.”
More than 160 professors at the university signed a letter speaking out against the law. One professor even went as far as to resign over the matter. The organizers of the protest want to point out the fact that while it would be perfectly fine for a student to carry a gun into the classroom, bringing a dildo in would get them in trouble. So now students are calling for people to take up the cry #CocksNotGlocks.
“The State of Texas has decided that it is not at all obnoxious to allow deadly concealed weapons in classrooms, however it DOES have strict rules about free sexual expression, to protect your innocence. You would receive a citation for taking a DILDO to class before you would get in trouble for taking a gun to class. Heaven forbid the penis.”
This protest is absolutely hilarious. American culture is absurd, we glorify violence in our media but vilify sex. This confronts that head on in a creative way. The protest is scheduled to take place on August 24, 2016. The organizers are encouraging everyone to come to the protest, even if they do not attend the University of Texas.

Now I'd much rather share my community and life with someone with a small **** than a small brain, or even heart.

because of course the children of the world's self-proclaimed home of freedom and the beacon for western civilization should attend schools where armed guards stroll the halls in kevlar military gear.

In those circumstances the calipers would probably only need to measure millimetres anyway.

Don't be daft, Americans haven't a clue how the metric system works.

Or would you rather lull them into complacency that there is no evil in the world, and that the big nanny state will provide for their every need, provided they pledge allegiance to its party, and pay more and more over their taxes into it.

So are you really trying to protect children, or drive an agenda?

Here's an idea - guns themselves don't kill, but combine a gun with bullets and they do. Put a dollar tax on a bullet and use that money to ensure schools aren't left in a situation where students feel as disenfranchised or as isolated as they can be.

Thats not a bad idea. At least it tries to address an actual problem with an actual solution, whereas a panacea approach of comprehensive gun bans really will not directly do anything to make schools safer. Its just a political talking point, at the cost of the children, which can be characterised as cynical.

They can accomplish the protection of children through enhanced security with or without the taxes, if they wanted to.

there is a material difference between there being evil in the world and your next-door neighbor, classmate or schoolteacher being evil. the rest of western civilization seems to be able to see the distinction without managing to kill each other in the process.

So as long as the kids have the right Weltanschauung to your liking, then its okay to risk their getting shot? In fact, the more get shot, the more sentient in favour of the gun control agenda.

But what about the children? What does pushing for gun control, that may not happen for 50 years if at all, do for their current state of vulnerability? You don't see a need to beef up their security?

So is it really the children you are "concerned" about, or is it an opportunity to promote the gun control agenda?

From a personal perspective I don't really care any more whether it is an American child or an American adult being shot - in fact it barely registers on my "give a &*Ł!"-ometer. What matters is that another generation of Americans are being raised where the attitude of "he who shouts loudest and packs the biggest gun" wins and that their interpretation of what "right and wrong" is being used to dictate what the world consider to be "right and wrong".

I'm about as far from a bleeding heart liberal as you can get but when it comes to this subject I find the concept of having armed guards roaming schools as complete and utter insanity. That is not a step forward for a civilised society.

... and again, and I am 'sorry' to insist- makes me wonder why Phos wants to live away from such a wonderful system- in such an awful one like here, where there is no lock on school doors, kids walk to school alone and go on camping trips from the age of 4. Why?
