Re: French shooting killing 4 British

Yes, the 8 year old was outside, the cyclist who reported the shooting saw her coming towards him.

Re: French shooting killing 4 British

the news seems strange.. Once it was said the cyclist had the other one pass him going up.. then he said he came upon the girl outside the car and the others. He imidately called it into the emergency system. Then the bodies where left in the car overnight and now a 4 year old was hidden under a womans legs for 8 hours? How could that be if everything happened and was found with in an hour? Did the little girl stay under the womans legs for the night.. didn't the police check? Also now only 3 people died they say.. and 60 bullet casings around the car.. wow had to be more than one shooter or not.. that's alot of firepower!

I suppose they did check the victims were really dead or did they just fly a helicopter over the scene at a respectful distance?

Here's a novel idea - why don't you read the news reports yourself?

Quote:
Explaining the failure to discover the four-year old earlier, Lieutenant Colonel Benoit Vinnemann said:
"We had instructions not to enter the car and not to move the bodies. Firemen, technicians and doctors all looked into the car through the holes in the windows but none of them saw the girl. She didn't budge. She stayed under the legs of her mother … She was so close to her mother they appeared as one mass.
They also said there was only one child seat in the car and a helicopter with a heat-seeking capability did not discover her.

The cyclist who called the police is also British. The other cyclist has three kids and they were awaiting a fourth in the next few days. I hope they catch those bastards as soon as possible!

A shooting just happened in the French alps 4 British were shot and killed. They say the car had British plates and one killed was also a bicycle. One other is still alive and is in bad shape.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-19494892
Have the bicycle's owners been informed?

Yeah, Suisse news said Iraqi & Swedish passports were found at the scene and speculation growing it might be a political execution...Very strange, of all the places, Annecy...Never would've imagined that..And that 4 year old girl, can you imagine?...you thought your life was rough?...Family snuffed out right before your eyes, insanity

Apparently they were reporting that the 8 yr old had died, making up the 4th death. They corrected that and the child is in hospital in an induced coma. At least that I what I just heard on the radio. Though they said she was 6 yrs old*.

Just opened the guardian story which says she is 7 yrs old.

Re: French shooting killing 4 British

I just listened to the French prosecutor who said that the doctors saw the little 4 year old but since she was "absolutely still", I guess they though that she too was dead. I guess this could have been the assumed 4th victim. Very confusing story!

I know the human mind is a fragile thing, but I don't think I will ever understand how or why anyone could do something so vicious.

No the 4th victim was the 1st French Cyclist who they assumed was in the wrong place at the wrong time. The 2nd cyclist found the girl of 8, who had her skull smashed I believe with butt of gun. The other little girl of 4 was discovered when the Specialist Team arrived, they took some hours to get there. The first team were told not to open the doors etc so as not to disturb any forensic evidence.
I like someone's quote by a newspaper " Maybe they should call in the UK cops who couldn't find a body in a loft until the third sweep... "

News stories are often confusing when live, the reporters chase around to find out whatever they can to be the first to report. Some of their tactics are not nice

So, how many adults were in the car?

The little girl was noticed by the first team but they thought she was dead because she "so still". At least that's what the prosecutor said.

3 - a man and two women. They think it is father, mother and grandmother of the two childen, but that hasn't been confirmed yet. The 4th death was the cyclist.

The cyclist and two people in the car were shot in the head. They haven't yet said how the other person in the car died.

Re: French shooting killing 4 British

This story makes me wonder if the justice systems that rule us are really just;

Now I'm speaking only for myself here, but no matter how much time the villains got for this crime, if that were my family I would not rest EVER until I butchered them slowly and painfully, 1000 times more than what the did.

I would expect to suffer the consequences but in a case like this I would want far more than an eye or a miserable tooth if I got my hands on them..

Some people believe that the justice system is the best way to control a civilisation, but would they if it touched their own homes??

Why weren't the children in school? Normal school in the UK started this week. It is not normal on the first week back at school!
