Re: The real face of muslim brotherhood in Egypt!

its the party that the folk of Egypt voted in I believe. Im pretty sure the voters were aware of the Reputation of the Brotherhood.

Whilst it is tragic to hear of such activities, I have to say it pays to vote with your head, not your heart/soul/faith.

No, most were NOT. The Muslim Brotherhood talked as if having become "moderate", and the people believed them.

But in the end they knew they were a Conservative Muslim party. Whether they promised to be moderate or not, its still the same (though saying they will be moderate still doesnt quench their reputation, which as I stated the folk were aware of), . They voted with their hearts and wanted a conservative muslim government, and it backfired. Do they feel that if they vote in a non-muslim government that they suddenly wont be allowed to practice their religion anymore?

Only allegations at the moment, and from the ever relaible and unbiased Daily Snail, of course .
I'll hold off judgement till I read it in a real newspaper.

Re: The real face of muslim brotherhood in Egypt!

Trust the dailymail to bring up relevant news...

Some people in that part of the world are savages and this was ongoing way before the muslim brotherhood came into power (according to the article). So this article can only mean one thing... The start of a new propaganda against the current lawfully elected goverment in Egypt. The world never learns and I won't be surprised if there is a big war in that region over the next 10-20 years.

You can take a dictator out of Egypt but you can't take Egypt out of a dictatorship.

I do not believe people can be so naive; they "wanted" to believe that MB can be moderate despite their previous experiences. Why should MB be more lenient towards their opponents, now that they have power?

The Daily Mail should be banned as a source on EF. Why you'd want to publicly declare that you read (and believe) the bile it spews is beyond me.
