PETA (People for the ethical treatment of animals) ... "aren't"

According to the article, in 2012 PETA killed 89% of the stray dogs and cats that were placed in animal shelter at it's headquarters. A total of only 19 animals were placed in homes during the entire year.

The annual budget for PETA is $36 million dollars, most of which seems to be spend on celebrity advertising campaigns.
