Prince Alexander Fraser John George Windsor.

King Fraz in the making!
George Alexander Louis

I think I scored highly on the name guessing!

The first is normally Lewis a different name - so it is the loo-eee - Louis

I would have gone for Canute

Channel 4 News just got the bit about the Queen being the first monarch to greet a great grandson in direct line of succession wrong too. God, they've had days to check their facts. Why is it so hard?
Victoria infact was alive when both her Great-grandson future Kings were born, Edward VIII and George VI, although I bet she wouldnt't have predicted that!

When my sister and I were born in the UK, my mum said it was normal to stay in hospital for two weeks!
Mind you, that was waaaaay back
When I was born at 4.00AM on 15th October 1950, they had to put me into the "oxygene tent" . Sure, this also was waaay back

I did wonder why such a short hospital stay? I would have thought a 3-day hospital stay to make sure everything's okay would be the norm.

yes, looks like she is going to stay with her mum.

I thought it was unbelievable that she left the hospital little more than 24 hours after popping out a 8.5 lb baby, even walking after that must have been painful and yet there she was infront of the worlds press looking fabulous.. she must be made of some pretty stiff upper lip stuff. good dose of genes for a future king.

it's fairly normal in the UK to stay only a day or two in the hospital.

I really do suspect she'll have a lot of resources at her disposal - more than just her mum.

I dont know, over all, her bouncing back in such a short time, after its the first time shes delivered an 8.5 lb child is a good reflection on her general health and fortitude.

Not sure why anyone would want to try and take that away from her.

that she could find help easily if she asks for it, would you prefer her to have a child without making arrangements to find help easily if she needs it?

It's also known that after your first child, you will leave the hospital early with following children if you're fit and healthy.

I'm pretty sure with a first child, and a big un, i'd be a physical and emotional mess. (I'm guessing if I were a man I might even be wheeled out in a wheelchair

Re: Kate (the Duchess of Cambridge) has gone into labour.

The Babyboy "Prince George, Alexander, Louis" is here, but did it have to be called "George"? Such an old-fashioned name in these times. Even if he is going to be a King I would have found Alexander better as a first name, then the friends could have called him "Alex". His face looks a bit swollen. Hope "George" looks cuter in a couple of weeks... My son also had these wrinkles after birth and was not the most cute one of all, but he is very handsome now... Hope the little prince takes after Kate's looks and does not get bald so young as William...

But what a burden for a boy to know he is going to be the King in years? He will not be allowed any adventures in puberty as wild "uncle Harry" has shown... and has been forgiven for... And what if he was not intelligent and had bad marks at school? I would not want to swap with him!

Vanessa

George... what a name. Just because he's bald, they didn't need to make him sound stodgy and middle-aged!

Caricatures of George IV go on display in Brighton

What's wrong with it? My wife's cousin is called George and he's 18.
