I guess penalty shoot-out will determine the winner then
USA won, a very impressive game from both sides. Switzerland is playing Chech Republic with equal intensity. Hockey is just awesome.

Hope you all saw the fantastic comeback by the Swedish team in the women's cross country relay today. Amazing!

Nah, I am more interested in the Swedish female teams during the summer olympics.

Re: Winter Olympics 2014

I'm watching Russia vs. Slovakia going at each other with insane intensity. It's incredible, that Russia played an overtime game vs the US less than 24h hours ago. This sure ain't soccer.

Re: Winter Olympics 2014

Barring a "Miracle on Ice" upset on your part, it doesn't look like Team USA and Team CH are going to meet in the men's hockey playoffs, but good luck to you anyway!

Re: Winter Olympics 2014

Swiss to play Latvia (again) in the next round.
Pretty impressive on the defence; 3 games played, 1 goal conceded. OK, only scored 2, but they say defence wins championships .

Brunner needs to pick it up, he's been practically imvisible so far; Niederreiter has been our best offensive player so far IMHO.

Go Finnland! 3-1 vs Russia in the third. Does it really need to be said that hockey is the greatest sport ever?

Re: Winter Olympics 2014

Russia has been defeated, eliminated, thrown out like yesterday's garbage

Anyways, one step closer to a US/CAN rematch. Which was one of the best games I have ever seen even though we lost.

Re: Winter Olympics 2014

I though the Swiss were quite arrogant in their approach yesterday; thinking they could skate into the Latvian zone, play a few neat passes and score. Not good enough. Of the NHL players, only Hiller, Niederreiter and Josi showed any determination.
