Not to mention Natasha Richardson, who tragically died after sustaining a head injury whilst skiing.

God, social media disgusts me. I won't post links, but it'll be apparent if you frequent the usual F1 sources.
Wishing people dead is despicable.

Wishing people dead is despicable. | | | | | I have seen "F1 sources" and they all wish him a speedy recovery etc, rather a bit too optimistic. Their solidarity is almost moving. Reading their comments I thought "let's join the positivism" . He is a well trained sportsman, and with a will to live, so that he has a chance. He may be dead tomorrow morning, true. but ..................

I'd say the legitimate sources are fine, and even the usual MSC detractors are being respectful.
They, however, are pointing out FB and Twitter updates wishing him, and other drivers dead.
It's a sport, and I understand rivalry, and dislike, but not to this extent. I was never a fan. Schumacher, like Senna, had negative aspects to his career, but they were both supremely skilled drivers, as is the current world champion.

Hospital spokesperson; | Quote: | | | | Michael Schumacher was the victim of very serious trauma. He was very agitated when he arrived and we decided he was in a critical situation and he quickly went into a coma.
The neurosurgical treatment he received brought us quite a lot of information. We had to operate urgently to release some pressure in his head. Unfortunately, he has some legions within his brain.
I'd say this accident happened in the right place because he was taken into hospital immediately and operated on as soon as he arrived, this mean his state is critical and he is still in a coma and he will be kept in a coma.
Everything that needed to be done has been done at the moment we can't really say when he will recover, we cannot answer this yet. | | | | | | This user would like to thank mirfield for this useful post: | |
