So this is the Ukraine’s and Joe Biden’s fault? Wheeeeeew.

Of course. It's all the West's fault. Just like women who get beaten by their spouses provoked them. Poor Putin. He had no choice to invade after Ukraine said nasty things.
In a war it doesn’t really matter who is at fault, might makes right.

And unfortunately Ukraine misjudged their position, probably due to a false sense of security of being protected by the West, not realising that the West doesn’t care about them.

I was watching again the bizarre video when Putin was questioning his chief of foreign intelligence and couldn't help but wonder if this isn't a weak sign that there might be misalignment at the helm in Kremlin? It can't be that all the top brass are supporting this move. It might be a chance for the world to respond strongly which could only drive further a potential disagreement internally. The Kremlin is notoriously opaque, but the consensus seems to be that Putin is generally surrounded only by a very small number of close advisers and there might be hope that there are factions inside which are opposing this.
He gave an ultimatum like Hitler so I don't think there's anyone from his camarilla in any opposition. The other day they seemed like school kids humiliated by an old school teacher....I think it is what it is.

Yes, you are right. The Ukrainians could have moved their country away from bordering Russia. The only mistake they have done is being Ukrainians, don't be fooled, this is completely and 100% Russian decision and accountability

Maybe if Ukraine took pro-Western course in 90s before Putin came to power they still had a chance. But it was hard to do when half of the land were pro-Russian.

Sweden and Finland will attend NATO summit tomorrow. So NATO might move even closer to Russian borders soon. It seems that Russia achieves the opposite result.

BTW: weather-forecast shows wind coming from the West.

Any dust blown up in Chernobyl will end up going towards Russia.

Maybe they'll destroy the "sarcophagus" and the Wests gets to pay for another one, this time at quadruple the costs, due to shortages of everything...

Making personal attacks in Russian is no more tolerated than making them in English or any other language. @perpetrators - please don't do it again. It's not clever.

Probably wasn't the best idea to ban the Russian language in a country right on the border with Russia for starters.

like what?
Ukraine began to deploy NATO units on its territory, which was soon to reduce the flying time of missiles to Russia's critical infrastructure from 15 to 7 minutes. All these talks about territorial integrity, language restriction or nazi resurrection was a tinsel. Russia does not need this territory, and doesn't really care what's going on there, as long as it makes no threat.
Putin suggested discussing this. NATO refused to discuss. This is not a war yet, but just another proposal to discuss. A little harder than the first one.

Nice try at deflection, but you said it was the West's fault.

The problem is Ukraine, goaded on by the West, poked the bear and are now finding out that the West doesn’t actually care about them much at all other than to use them.
And that's what the replies were about. As you know.

What NATO units in Ukraine? Can you provide a source for this, which is differnt from pravda.ru? If you are referring to weapons, this is different, yes, NATO countries have supplied Ukraine. But there haven't been NATO units in Ukraine apart from army trainers.
