Iím really not trying to be an alarmist, but Iím a little scared. I have a friend that is even more scared / lives alone and reached out to me to find out where these famous Swiss bunkers are located. Probably not a bad idea to know right now Ö is there a place to locate them in your neighborhood? I know some buildings already have them.

I didnít think Putin would ever be that mad - but now I donít know what to think.

Thank-you!

Just ask your Gemeinde- they have the full list and allocation. Most bunkers are full of boozem tins and ski boots- so will need some clearing out.

Perso, at my age, I won't go- enough drugs, booze and deadly poisonous plants in garden. None in our basement- our cellar dates from the 16C! Logging off EF now, unbearable.

Does anyone have any idea if this is true?

'Hundreds' of Russian troops taken prisoner - Ukrainian foreign minister
Of course it's true. Ukrainians had to create a special website for their mothers and open 3 hotlines. There are plenty of videos with captives.

Outdated. Russia passed a "law" in 2021 that allows him two more terms, until 2036.

And yes, after him there might be another Putin. But again, this is not a party system like the USSR or China. It is only him and maybe very few others. I doubt this is a stable system if he is gone.

Lukashenko promised to stop the fire for the negotiations but a missile was launched from his territory to the city of Zhitomyr.

I have one in my basement, but the big vault like door is gone. And I only have it stocked with potato chips, liquor, beer, and wine. And a few cigars.
The kid wonít be happy, but I will.

There is a famous Russian journalist who asks all his guests how old they were in 2000 and how old they will be in 2036.

Maybe.

Maybe not. It looks like large parts of the Russian army don't want to fight in Ukraine. Shoigu did not look very impressed in Monday's show trial nor in today's nuclear order clip. There are lots of protests in Russia. Their economic suffering will increase. Maybe Russia will not be ready for more of this shit.

Sorry man, I meant in Russia's narrative - we're all Slavs, family, blah blah and then Russia is the most important member of the family of course :P

Many Russians know that tomorrow they will wake up in North Korea.

Some restaurants already don't want to serve Russians. And it's only a beginning.

There are two demos in Zurich tomorrow: at 14 and at 19-30. We plan to go to the second one, because the kids are still at school at 14.

Re: World War 3 or just a local spat in Ukraine?

More and more signs of Russia's isolation. Russia summons Israeli ambassador, said to ask: ‘Why are you backing Nazis?

For me the interesting question is how far is he able to go before generals and oligarchs stop him as he seems to be losing the plot. It's clear quite a lot of power is concentrated with him, but at what point do the generals decide that his personal political future is at the expense of the world basically

We know we're living in crazy times when we're rooting for the oligarchs to take actions!

Russia cannot win this war. When you have so many people, not soldiers, standing up with their bodies unarmed and expelling a tank you know these are some tough guys! The Russian soldiers are probably not only unmotivated, but also shocked by the "reception" they're getting.

well their private jets have been grounded, except if they want to go east or some domestic location.

And I suspect that their insurers will ban even those flights.
