Oh heck, I laughed too loud at this...

At some point Lavrov will ask Putin....: "Vlad.... could it be... that WE are the baddies!?"
Unfortunately, the level of self delusion amongst the Kremlin leadership is beyond the point of salvation. I truly believe that these guys have been telling each other the same lies over and over for years and they actually believe them. It resembles a religious cult, similar to Nazism...they don't live in the same world we do, they have their own world view and fully believe it.

Maybe already said?
Must be a reason that Putin did not allow Lavrov to fly to Geneva in a Russian diplomatic plane, so Lavrov had to give the weak and untrue (for diplomats) excuse that Russian planes are banned from Switzerland.

Re: World War 3 or just a local spat in Ukraine?

Belarus joins Russia’s war on Ukraine

This is becoming surreal in a really bad way. The whole world will be watching two bullies beat up the good guy and won't intervene because they made a pinky-swear not to enter into fights.

If not NATO, individual countries should be able to take out the Belarus army.

Vova is not a bad name, it's also a bit diminutive in a good way. Putler describes him well enough.

Wiki disagrees with you. Close to 50k. More importantly, this is irrelevant, what's relevant is yet another grotesque breach of international agreements and invading with 0 provocation.

I was thinking the same. Not sure of the possible repercussions from both Russia/Belarus and other countries.

Hungary, for example appears to be up to it's old tactics of hedging it's bets by both agreeing to EU sanctions but blocking weapons movements to Ukraine forces across it's borders.

Most Russian planes are registered in Ireland or Bermuda. The leasing companies insist on it.

Only one with Russian registration (RA), most of the others registered in EU countries. LX=Luxembourg, D=Germany OE=Austria.

Aeroflot’s planes are mostly Bermuda (VP/VQ), S7’s are Irish (EI).

Ukraine conflict: Disney, Warner, Sony halt release of films in Russia https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-60566286

Now they will punish common folks and their kiddos for mistakes of their leaders. They won’t be able to watch their favorite Disney’s movies. That will isolate them from the world of truth completely.

That's hillarious:

Everything said by this man was taught to the kids of the 7th-11th grade in the whole Russia during the special "lesson of peace" today. If you want you can read the guidelines for teachers using Google Translate.

Because the entire playground is wired with dynamite and he's got a detonator. Possibly.

I do not know if this will actually happen but on Facebook today
"In a statement on Facebook, the Air Force Command of Ukraine's armed forces said the country will get 16 MiG-29 and 14 Su-25 planes from Bulgaria, 28 Mig-29 planes from Poland and another 12 MiG-29 jets from Slovakia"

Of course, if the Russians have bombed all the Ukraine airfields then what will UA do with the aircraft?
"It's official - Europe won't transfer fighter planes to Ukraine. Poland decided not to, and Slovakian defense ministry spokesperson confirms to me just now: “Slovakia will not provide fighter jets to Ukraine."

I guess it's more related to business, no punishment. If media companies cannot take the money out of Russia, why deliver stuff to customers in first place?

Cannot believe this is escalating so fast. Really hope that the recklessness doesn’t go anywhere near Chenobyl.

I was in Manchester and passed the demo for support and solidarity to Ukraine. Many grief stricken faces.

What is wrong with the world .

I would not be surprised if more Russians watch the newest releases from BitTorent than in a cinema...
