It is increasingly difficult to understand what the Russian strategy actually is. The initial blitzkrieg capture-the-flag push didn’t withstand the first contact. Followed by a pause and now reverting to what they know works. The Grozny strategy of destroying everything in your path.

But what does the destruction of the Ukraine actually gain them? To me it’s obvious that their best result would be an occupied land where the remaining locals are determined to throw the bums out. Draining resources and their young men for many years.

In a country of over 40 million people, the Russians simply do not have enough infantry to take the cities by house to house fighting, the more they try to destroy cities then the bigger their ammunition resupply problems.

Looks evermore like they will just get bogged down while they murder many more civilians without any strategic successes.

Which also aligns with the "classic" russian military mentality: lets terrorize the civilians as much as possible to put pressure on Zelenski to surrender and give us what we want. The kremlin despots are nothing else but despicable lowlifes.

My concern is that currently they target civilian infrastructure like hospitals as a strong suggestion to Zelenski "look what we're willing to do, this is just a taste of what we can truly unleash"

I think we will have lots of news that need confirmed by more neutral or objective sources...it is really frustrating not to know what's really happening there. A lot of atrocities have happened but I feel like we are "bombarded" with too many things for the moment. It could be true, it could be "fake news".
