| | Re: World War 3 or just a local spat in Ukraine? | Quote: | | | | | vushka's comment is of itself ad hominem. Implying that anyone who doesn't agree with them is a liar. | | | | |
This is ad hominem - Doesn't even mention why they disagree, just attacks a poster. | Quote: | | | | | I can't decide if you are either simply a mentally disturbed individual, or just someone who really seeks attention through posting incessant ridiculous crap in order to provoke reactions from people. Or maybe a mixture of both. Either way, it's quite pathetic to read. | | | | | As per usual it's moderately amusing seeing as Chuff appears to just posts attacks on people without adding to an argument, most likely as they are a mentally disturbed individual, or just someone who really seeks attention through posting incessant ridiculous crap in order to provoke reactions from people. Or maybe a mixture of both. Either way, it's quite pathetic to read.

It’s not smart or clever and it is perfectly possible to make your point without resorting to this sort of post.
You may not agree with what Slammer wrote and I’m sure many others don’t either but he was just posting his feelings and there are almost certainly many others who feel exactly the same but would never actually admit it. Self preservation becomes very important to people when they start to feel threatened and fear for themselves and their loved ones.

Are we allowed to express any feelings here? OK, duly noted.
My feelings are that slammer and all those who agree with his sentiment are socially challenged individuals (to say the least) who have nothing better to do with their time other than writing literally hate speeches on public fora and that, as far as I know, it's not even legal.

I have spent 8 years working in Ukraine for an international organisation. Been to so called non government controlled areas in the east and carpathians in the west. Interacted with numerous internal displaced people, politicians, police, army NGOs activists and diplomats.
Happy to answer questions if any.

Yes I do feel threatened, so should you.

It was a conditional statement. He stated what he would do if there was a danger if being nuked.
It is an unlikely scenario but I am sure there are plenty of other people who feel the same way should it become a reality just as there are plenty of people who find the idea of it abhorrent.
Of course you are allowed to express your feelings, why wouldn’t you be?

He could also add why do Sweden and Finland want to join NATO all of a sudden?
The answer is the same and has to do with invading Ukraine…

I though it landed in the sea between NK and Northern Honshu?
But yes, you have a point. Putin's North Korea is much bigger a country than the original.

Guys and Ladies, criticize away, but I have a feeling that this is going south - fast
Foreign Ministry says it has the right to consider NATO military cargoes in Ukraine as its targets. The Russian Armed Forces may consider US and NATO arms cargoes in Ukraine as their military targets, Deputy Director of the Department of North America of the Russian Foreign Ministry Sergei Koshelev said, RIA Novosti reported.
