If that isn't a casus belli, I don't know what is. | | | | | The OUN is still around, mostly under the Svoboda label these days, they get low percentages in the election but they are still active in Ukraine politics.

Just had a look at Wikipedia, 2.15% in the 2019 election.

This is democracy for you.
I don't think it's a good reason to invade them.
Btw, there's a saying about people who live in glass houses...

How about the good ol' France, where a candidate of far-right gets 41% votes and extreme-left maoist candidate almost got to the second round. Or where a former supreme leader of Germany takes ahem, salary, from Russia to promote its interests (or is is paid for his former services?), and is still a respectable and influential member of a ruling party?
By the numbers, these are way more dangerous traits, unless some history books glossed over large chapters of Soviet and Chinese history. I've seen a book of this type sold in EDEKA or similar, 'History of East Prussia'. It's last chapter ended just before 01.09.1939. What a coincidence.

Is this the reason for which Russia has invaded Ukraine? What's your point? This looks like repeating Russian propaganda. | Quote: | | | | | Interesting, this is a marginal issue, admittedly. And with other nationalistic, populistic parties which could be easily labeled "nazis" as per his definitions.

Another report from RTR Planeta
Ukrainian language does not exist, only Zelenskyy speaks it (??)
Russian intelligent people are deranged / unstable
Social psychology is necessary
The WAY people speak makes me think they are on cocaine
I had a roommate once, who would continue talking even when I left the room..

The law of unexpected consequences strikes again.
" Finland, Sweden To Begin NATO Application In May.
Finland and Sweden will together express their wish to join NATO in May, tabloid newspapers Iltalehti in Finland and Expressen in Sweden reported on Monday, citing sources close to the matter."
After seeing what Russia is doing to their "brothers" in Ukraine if I was in those countries I would be joining NATO plus joining anything else that might give me protection as soon as possible.

(sounds a bit wierd in English )

Ukraine moves to join NATO, gets invaded.
Not sure that I would conclude that joining NATO is the best move.
That said, Russia probably doesn't care too much about FI and SE, so it might not make a difference in the end. But I expect RU would take some measures to register their displeasure at further NATO expansion.
EDIT: also after what happened in Ukraine and the high costs imposed, I doubt RU would be in a hurry to invade anyone else very soon (Transnistria expansion excepted).
