Go on, spit it out! What are you really saying here?

What's that supposed to mean ?
I wanted to know what the Arab nations contributed to the world, did my Research, can't seem to find anything.

But if you do find anything, please let me know, I'm curious.

Firstly, wtf to Arabs have to do with anything? Secondly, is that how we evaluate potential criminals? By what they've invented? Or by their childhood? No. Neither get off.

You write that this article is irrelevant to the thread. This is the reason you gave for groaning on this post.

.... maybe this post is irrelevant .... on the other Hand, you depict Israel as an oppressor, as murderers of civilians and so on.
So why not show there's also another side to this land and its People ?
Or is this the reason you groaned ?
Is it perhaps too disturbing for you to contemplate that a land with ca 7 Million People has the courage and the brains to contribute for the welfare of the globe .....
while the Population of the Arab countries surrounding Israel with a Population of 292.400.267 has done unfortunately nothing for the world ?!?
Could the reason be jealousy ??

For even though the the subject may have been "irrelevant to the thread" to groan at these accomplishments which are benefitting you and the world, make me think there's a deeper reason .....
Does Israel have a shop/outlet in zurich where i can pick up this stuff for free ? preferably closer to the main station Zurich HB.

Even if it was funny, let's not.

Those who really are interested in this issue will not waste energy in childish personal jabs, honestly. And it is obvious from the thread.

I wasn't racist before I started reading these Middle east threads, but now I think I am.

Is that a new win for EF?

Why waste decency on attention seaking offensive people and pay the same rhetorics to them. Gets everybody away from what's being discussed.

I would love to ask a friend who peacetalked there but cannot get hold of her..The truth is, what is being reported is so far from what is actually happening.

These are just some of the wonders “made in Israel” which are transforming the lives of thousands of people across the globe.Including you.
  • First Care Emergency Bandage – is used to stop bleeding in trauma situations. Has saved the life of US Congresswomand Gabrille Giffors.
  • Mobileye – built into every new car in the world.
  • SensAheart – can be used at home and in the hospital to detect a heart attack
  • Nicom – non-invasive cardiac output monitor to prevent sepsis – one of the top 10 causes of death in USA.
  • Lube airway collar – cervical collar device for severe trauma to the neck.First ever non-invasive device that can open an airway.
  • Agilite Instant Harness - world’s smallest Class II rappelling harness, saved the lives of South African miners trapped underground 2013.
  • Injured Personnel Carrier - novel hand-free device allows one rescuer to carry an injured person.
  • The Babysense breathing monitor alerts parents of respiratory cessation in babies. Has helped protect more than 600.000 babies from crib death around the world.
  • Hyginex – smart bracelet to be worn by every staff member in a hospital to make sure that everyone washes their hand.
  • FODetect – keeps runways around the world safe from foreign objects. Damage to aircraft caused by FOD is $4 billion each year. It also caused the Concorde to crash in 2000, killing 113 people.
  • iMayDay iPhone app – sets of an alarm and emails to 5 pre-determined address to inform emergency workers about the accident.
  • PerSys Medical’s Blizzard Survival – rescued a mother and son with the Llanberis Mountain Rescue team in March.
  • Micromedic Technologies – diagnoses early intervention colorectal cancer, bladder cancer, lung cancer etc.
  • NowForce smarphone app – uses GPS to get first-response teams quickly.
  • Skysaver – to help evacuate skyscrapers in emergency situations.
  • Oxitone – watch that could save your life, measures your blood oxygen levels and alerts to a potential heart attack. Expected on the market within a year.
  • Autotalks – keeps drivers and passengers safer. By 2015 all car manufacturers will have it.

It seems to me that this post caused the groans, insults, accusation of racism, thrown in my direction. Or perhaps it was my other post in which I mentioned that Israel with a Population of 7 Million had the guts and the audacity to invent these life saving inventions which benefit the whole globe, while asking what did the 21 Arab countries with a Population of 292.400.264 has given to the world .... (there are many decent Arabs/Muslims but the question is still there )

Fair enough. Still, does anyone out there have an answer ?
I would appreciate it.

  • A while ago I posted this article describing these inventions made in Israel with a population of ca. 7 Million. I asked if anyone knew what the surrounding 21 Arab countries with a population of 1.8 Billion (?) contributed to the world.
  • I did actually find something, anyone out there who can help ?

Re: Palestinian teen [possibly] burned alive

Much of the security in place in the UK was developed (and tested and proved) in Israel.

What have the Arabs given us? Maths, astronomy, scientific approach to medicine... However, that was in the golden age of Arab civilisation. Unfortunately, they've been in a bit of decline since then. It can't be money, since many Arab states are unbelievably wealthy. I put it down to their political systems.
