Logically true, as I wrote about 5 posts ago.

I guess DC probably doesn't want to go down in history as the PM who broke the union though.

he's doing just enough (now) to make it look like he gives a damn

You mean sticking to the facts?

Something the yes campaign have not been good at
The fact being that a day after announcing it, his front bench are already voicing discontent.

As Bob Dylan said, you don't need to be a weatherman to know which way the wind blows.

Re: Voting for Scottish Independence?

I kind of agree with StirB on this, if Scotland stays with the UK then there is a chance the rUK political parties will be unpleasant. I'm not even sure DC will survive if Scotland stays, Boris is on his tail

well mp's represent there constitutes, not the tory party, they are the ones that vote them in, they are the ones that see a shed load of cash going upto scotland to pay for free uni, free prescriptions etc more per head being spent on the scots then the english and they are saying WTF you want to give these whingers MORE??? I think not baby puppy

so the mp's then get worried about there own gravy train and say what they need to to quieten down the proles

Well, indeed.

Why does an MP in Cornwall want to give concessions to Scotland. Every MP should really be coming out and saying this from Wales to Newcastle to Newquay, it makes no sense.

Naw!

But negotiations are in advanced stage with Kim Jong-il to install a kilometer wide mined strip with auto-triggered machine guns, searchlights and rabid dogs.

It's strange .. Last couple of weeks my Facebook feed has been mental with YES / NO.. The media has been mental.. But today, all quiet.. Even the champion of the NO campaign, the daily mail had very few updates ..

Calm before the storm ?? Why not exit polls and all the usual bollox ?

Nice choice of colours. The blue of "Yes" is the same as the background colour of Scotland's flag, and the red of "No" is the colour of St. George's cross on England's.

No, it's because there's not allowed to be any campaigning broadcast whilst the actual poll takes place.
Newspaper rules are more lax.

Re: Voting for Scottish Independence?

I've already opened my finest single malt.

I don't really mind who wins but will be celebrating both ways.

This is not a political statement but more of an explanation in case my posts become even more incoherent than usual in the course of the evening.
