To be fair, YES is harder to spell, that's why they all voted NO.
Again, you lost, get over it.

Its a little bit sad that there appears to be a groan fest for anyone even remotely suggesting that there was trouble in Glasgow on Fri night

Yes there is normally a bit of aggro in Glasgow at weekends, yes it was probably just a very lame excuse for a fight, but to groan at people for just posting what was widely reported in the press is a bit off imho

some people need to take off there rose tinted specs.
That's not why I groaned, I groaned them for statements like 'new face of Scotland', riots in Glasgow, etc etc etc.

Not at all. Everyone knows there was a bit of trouble. But to says that Glaswegians need any excuse to start a fight is insulting to the vast majority of peace loving Glaswegians just like StirB suggesting that all 50k rangers fans at games weekends are hooligans is offensive.

I mean when was the last time there was a riot in Glasgow? This wasn't even a riot. Island_Monkey seems to think that all cities are as shit as London and want to loot and burn down their city for hardly any reason at all.

Re: Voting for Scottish Independence?

Back on topic. I've been thinking about devo max. The so called 45 (should be 44.75 tbh) are the only ones who seem to be moaning about the so called backtracking on it.

I'm a no supporter. Not a devo-max supporter. I don't want devo-max. I'm quite happy with the status-quo. The Scottish are already far better off than the rest of the UK (prescription charges and tuition fees for one). I don't think we should be greedy.

Personally I feel conned by the big parties to have offered devo-max when No was for the status-quo

My word, all of a sudden you and Connor are becoming very hard of reading.

I never said all 50k in Ibrox were violent rioters, quote me where I said that. I said a majority of them share the pro-english, anti-scottish sentiments however. You can deny this, but in reality you know it is true, I know you've lived in Glasgow Porsch, no idea on Connor.

Also Connor, how do I know they were Rangers fans? Again struggling with reading the reports? They came from the Louden, who do you think was drinking in there, Celtic fans?

Did you even read the poll you linked by the way...first it was only 130 Rangers fans asked, second even in the article it says "This poll is in no way scientific". Great evidence there mate.

Oh and EDIT 2: Just to cheer you up and totally invalidate your nonsense argument...Rangers fans started walking across from the Louden...you are welcome...

http://www.heraldscotland.com/politics/referendum-news/george-square-trouble-the-night-our-readers-became-reporters.1411314286

By the way, even if you are a Rangers fan, I don't tar you with the same brush as these clowns, but stop painting all Rangers fans as sweetness and light, there is a horrible bigoted undercurrent running through a large swathe of them.

So carry on, groan away, send me childish messages, but let's try and debate the real points at hand here instead of getting personal, eh?

I will not de-rail the thread anymore but what you have said is again nonsense.
Pro British not pro English.

And this does not look very anti Scottish to me.

Re: Voting for Scottish Independence?

some mentioned fears about visas and EU status, is anyone uncomfortable about the Tory (and the maybe soon to be relevant UKIP) stance on the EU?

http://rt.com/uk/191928-uk-eu-leave-reform/

Given that my living in many countries is possible because I am part of an EU member state, this worries me.

England and Wales should leave the Union and the European Union and leave Northern Ireland and Scotland to the German wolves.

Then we can begin to eat the Welsh.

I posted this on my Facebook about a week before the vote in Scotland and some English friends were not happy.
I wrote something along the lines of: "why doesn't Scotland just leave the UK and keep the EU memebrship so that everybody is happy at the end?".

Yeah, but did you include the bit about eating the Welsh? Without that, the plan would be madness!

Re: Voting for Scottish Independence?

The suggestion you are making is whatany scots want whereas fb suggests canabalism. As a Scot who doesn't want to live in the uk independence may have been my best option as if the uk leaves the eu I could have become Scottish and kept on living in Europe, providing of course that Indy scot was made part of the eu

Now I'm concerned about my future, I really don't want to go back to the island
