New 20 euro note -- does the ECB know something we don't? ;)

The ECB has unveiled the design of the new 20 note, which perhaps fittingly commemorates Gothic architecture again. The notes will go into circulation in November this year.

"EURO" is spelled out on the note in several European languages, including Greek.

Greek is also the official EU language of Cyprus.

In response to your question: " yes we do"
Suppose 50s are going to be next and all of a sudden they'll outlaw 500s.
And *then* you'll see people jumping out of windows again (but for a different reason)
