Overkill - North Korea style (Defence Chief obliterated)

It has been reported (by S.Korea) that North Korea has executed it's Defence Chief - because he fell asleep at a military event.

It is alleged that he was publicly shot ....... using an anti-aircraft gun ...... Completely obliterated, FFS.

That's called ruling a country by fear.

Re: Overkill - North Korea style (Defence Chief obliterated)

It`s totally shocking - beyond belief.
Kind of reminds me of something I read about how some of the prisoners were treated after the battle of Culloden in 1746.
We (the English) tied them up in a circle . . . and just fired a cannon into it.

I'd advocate the same punishment for EF users who don't search before they post.

I would take these stories with a pinch of salt, until independently verified. I believe it was the same South Korean news source that alleged he had murdered his wife for burning his toast..... or something like that??

Nah. Wild speculation, knee jerk reactions, biased opinions, passive aggressive behavior, sarcasm, axe grinding and US bashing are all cornerstones of the EF. Besides - today is the new Friday this week. Let's get this party started!

I wonder if there was spall?

Maybe Jong-Un is a one-man fifth column, and is starving for adoration from the West. This may be his revolution. He could be more entertaining than this - Oppa Jong-Un Style.

Maybe Kim was worried, that like Bond, if he left him on the table with a Laser about to cut him in half, he would get away and seek revenge. Although the old baddie scenario, surely deserves some sort of wild animal or a pool of sharks.

(Joking aside, its very horrible)

The advantage of using the anti aircraft gun is that at least nobody else will fall asleep during the event.

Re: Overkill - North Korea style (Defence Chief obliterated)

I know what you're thinking: "Did he fire six shots or only five?" Well, to tell you the truth, in all this excitement, I've kinda lost track myself. But being this is a ZSU-23-4, the most powerful anti-aircraft weapon in the world, and would blow your head clean off, you've got to ask yourself one question: 'Do I feel lucky?' Well, do ya, punk?

Re: Overkill - North Korea style (Defence Chief obliterated)

There are satellite photos in the web of other people apparently being executed in N. Korea by such weapons, look here.

Could explain why Kim cancelled his Moscow trip last weekend; if there was unrest at home.

Because a simple firing-squad is so 90s.

I expect a couple more of these before someone pulls the plug.
Then, things will get really interesting in Korea.

Re: Overkill - North Korea style (Defence Chief obliterated)

Earlier in North Korea, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kim_Chol

Kim Chol, vice minister of the army, was executed with a mortar round in October 2012. Kim Chol was reportedly executed for drinking and carousing during the official mourning period after Kim Jong-il's death.

On the explicit orders of Kim Jong-un to leave "no trace of him behind, down to his hair," according to South Korean media, Kim Chol was forced to stand on a spot that had been zeroed in for a mortar round and "obliterated."

Since then we read much has been invented or exaggerated, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bias_in...ern_news_media
.
