Marton, people are getting sick of the lazy platitudes. Great! Only five people had their throats slashed! Let's hug a mujahid!

Would you be so dismissive if one of the Charlottesville nazis had slashed "only" five people's throats?

"lazy platitudes" I claim tautology, no wonder people are getting sick. :D

Unfortunately no different to what you hear political leaders here in Europe say with their b.s. hashtags for #solidarity, #love, #weareone.
But think (or even worse, mention) a political line that doesnt agree with them and all hell breaks loose.
All going according to plan IMO

And I claim evasion.

Again, would you be so dismissive if one of the Charlottesville nazis had slashed "only" five people's throats?

I claim fantasy!

The US neo Nazis are heavily armed with rapid fire weapons and would never stoop to using knives.

Take your hypothetical and unreal questions somewhere else :D

One of them "stooped" to using a car.

And you're still being evasive, so I'll try again: would you be so dismissive if one of the Charlottesville nazis had slashed "only" five people's throats?

Would I believe it is better for a neo Nazi to take a knife to a gun fight instead of gun, of course! What a dumb question? :D

Or maybe you never bothered to read my original post

This is painful to read.

No wonder Europe is shifting to the far right.

We'll only have ourselves to blame.

Forget it.

Political violence is clearly just a joke to you, as long as the perpetrators are mujahideen.

This is something that I've been wondering about.

Every time Islamic terrorists kill in EU, there are a bunch of news articles "Muslims Fear Backlash", and #LoveDiversity and things like that..."oh, he was just crazy, you can't blame all Muslims"...."the Muslims are marginalized in our society, it's society's fault".... put flowers at the attack location, change Facebook pic to the flag of the country attacked....

...however, when the alt-right Nazis killed one person, there was NONE of that. The Left was fuming with hatred, saying (correctly, BTW) that this is not tolerable in our society. ...but why don't they fume with the same hatred towards Jihadists? Why are they not saying that Islamic terror attacks are unacceptable? Why are they not demanding the Muslim communities do something about the problem? Where are the protest marches for change?

If you want to look at the death tolls, "Nazis" killed about 1 or 2 (?) people in the last 3 years, .... Islamic radicals have killed at least 400-500 in EU alone ....if you want to count Africa and Mid-East, then it's easily into the thousands. But from watching all the protests, apparently the number one threat to our society are Nazis :silly:

"Islamic radicals have killed at least 400-500 in EU alone" I make it 320 in the last 3 years; still far too many of course plus very many injured.

If you include Anders Behring Breivik then Nazis are also very dangerous.

What rock have you been living under?

- Everyone with any common decency says Islamic terror attacks are unacceptable
- There is constantly demand of the Muslim communities to do something about the problem
- http://www.independent.co.uk/news/wo...-a7909611.html - just the first google result when you search 'Protests against terrorism'

Your article quoted around 2,500 Muslim anti-terror protestors in Spain. While I applaud that, the numbers are weak. There were more people protesting tourism in Spain the previous weeks.

There was also supposed to be a big Muslim anti-terrorism march in Köln in June, some news outlets said up to 10,000 people were expected, but in the end, only a few hundred showed up, with the largest Muslim group in Germany refusing to attend (??). Considering how many Muslims live in EU now, the reaction is weak. Too weak. But I do applaud the Muslim who do. Only wish there were more.

Oh I do apologise. Please let these protesters know that unless they meet your minimum criteria regarding numbers then they don't count.

I said that I applaud them, you didn't see that part? I'm just saying the reaction in the Muslim community seems too weak. For every one Muslim that stands up and denounces terrorism, there are too many others who either look the other way or sympathize with the terrorists. That's not acceptable, and needs to be changed. Right now, there's an Islamic terror attack almost every other week in EU. That's not acceptable either. Where are the major protests? How is anything going to change given the status quo? The Islamic terror attacks are increasing, not declining, the status quo needs to change.

Let me put it this way, if White Supremacists had killed 300-400 random Muslims in the last 3 years, I would expect to see the whole society stand up against it. Every white person with two legs should be out marching against it. The response form the Muslim communities by comparison is way to weak, if they can only round up a few hundred people.

Daesh have killed far more Muslims than any other demographic by a very long way.

Hundreds protesting in the street with the King of Spain. It's much closer to 2,500 Muslims protesting in the street with the King, yet that's not good enough for you? How convenient....
To everyone else, it gives a clear message.

Probably worth noting that Barcelona has the largest Muslim community in Spain with over 320,000 adherents.

Assuming that all 2,500 who attended were Muslim, it makes up less than 1% of the Islamic community in Barcelona.

Try turning on your tv and see for yourself. Reports saying hundreds of thousands of people have turned out for this demonstration and it's happening right now. Look for yourself, and if you're not happy with what you see, complain to King Felipe, write to Mariano Rajoy, protest yourself.
