Tom | | | | | Says who?
Besides, I think with a C permit you can't either unless, effectively, you're severely criminal.

What I find alarming is that you choose to embelish your post with a photograph of celebrations at a Manchester supermarket. | | | | | Exactly. I could put a photo from Sweden or any other EU country that is facing this problem too.

| | Re: All about Muslims (in the wake of terrorist attacks in Europe) | Quote: | | | | | Indeed, it's an awful trend. Many Muslims came from the Balkans, and seeking safety they naturalised. This makes it impossible to have them deported.
So perhaps we should start to reduce the 25% share of foreigners instead. Which presumably would include you. | | | | | I do not follow the Quoran. |

You do not know much about the rules to obtain Swiss citizenship?
There are many second and third generation people here who are not Swiss citizens. |

Britain had an empire and is still part of the Commonwealth. As many Commonwealth countries have a large Muslim population, there will always be Muslims in the UK. Many Muslims in the UK have lived there for more generations than my Irish and German ancesters.
Now Capo, I don't know where you're from, but it's high time that you learned about Europe seeing as you're resident here. You could perhaps begin by reading about Caliphate of Cordoba..... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Caliphate_of_C%C3%B3rdoba | The following 5 users would like to thank Blueangel for this useful post: | |

But I think it was to point out that Islam had previously been introduced to Europe and it has been here for a long time now, so why is everybody up in arms about it at this moment?
The way some commentators on EF, go on about it, it could be considered a threat to the very fabric of our society. Which is laughable BS.

| | Re: All about Muslims (in the wake of terrorist attacks in Europe) | Quote: | | | | | | | | | | If we're going to be patronising to Capo, perhaps we should include the bit where Islam was eliminated from most of Europe over a thousand years ago. Or the bit where Europe experienced the Renaissance, Reformation and Industrial Revolution, whilst the Islamic world basically made zero technological advances in the same time thanks to this wonderful religion.
Either way, it’s got nothing to with what’s going on today.

I just don't understand why either.

I just don't understand why either. | | | | | Yeah right. Same old arguments ad infitum. All religions are full of extremist ideology. If there was such a huge threat from ex ISIS fighters why are there not many more regular attacks on our society? Most of the attacks have been committed by radicalised individuals or small groups that have never even been to the M.E. Maybe you should blame Tim Berners-Lee for facilitating the mechanisms to spread extremism.
Also you go lumping all Muslims under the same old tired extremist label, when its obviously not the case.
I understand the dislike of religion, and the arguments against religion in general, being an Atheist myself. What I cant understand is your fear and hatred, it makes you equally as extreme as the people you try to oppose.

Laughable! | | | | | Its one thing being aware of the stresses on society that a huge influx of refugees will have. Its another decrying people in need because of their religious or ethnic backgrounds. It another thing entirely because its xenophobia.
