When one compares this to the acceptance of Poland of hundreds of thousands of Ukrainian refugees in precisely the same time window the absurdity of your position becomes all the more clear.

I clearly quoted the sources for my numbers, I decided to include only major terrorist incidents which was clearly defined in my source.
So where are your sources? | | | | | bend and twist, bend and twist...
My sources are where your answers to my questions are, not in this topic....

Third biggest party now. | | | | | The OH was listening to Deutschlandfunk this morning and she says there was an opinion piece by a guy saying that it's so wonderful to see all the parties (apart from the AfD) being in such close agreement over virtually everything. This only proves, so he said, what inner peace the Germans have found and how wonderful everything is.

However a voting majority of Germans do; over 30%!
I wrote that for the average German she delivers what they want, positive economy, rising wages and low unemployment. | | | | | Well, you certainly don't miss an opportunity to defend her. | Quote: | | | | | German Chancellor Angela Merkel warned the U.K. on Saturday that it would have to pay a settlement to leave the EU, denying that the obligation amounted to a “fine.”

According to Merkal
- Eastern Europe is evil and must be punished
- UK is bad and must be punished
- USA is bad and must be punished
- Turkey is bad and must be punished
Oh, any I wonder why so many people have stopped liking us?
Certainly nothing to do with Merkel.

Par for the course. Like an annoying mosquito near a water hole on an otherwise pristine golf course, we just have to accept that parnell will pop up where he is least wanted. | | | | | I'm sure very shortly the mods will be along to warn you about personal attacks etc.
I am however surprised in your interest in bourgeois golf courses... surely such a betrayal of the proletariat cannot go unpunished ??

In your case, they're willing to make an exception.

Not only is she herself very popular but Schultz is proving particularly ineffective.
The speculation right now doesn't really seem to be about how high Merkel will win, but how badly Schultz will lose.

Seems to me like the local doing its typical thing and copy-pasting from stuff that's mostly old and gluing it together with fluff.

Certainly nothing to do with Merkel. | | | | | Defending people against unfair attacks does not make one a supporter! You will know there is a difference between a sufficient condition and a necessary condition.
Who is "us"? EF, Switzerland? According to your profile you are from the UK! |

German Chancellor Angela Merkel has demanded the release of German citizens detained in Turkey, describing their imprisonment as "unjustified" on Tuesday.
In July, Turkish authorities arrested German human rights activist Peter Steudtner and nine others, charging them with " committing crimes in the name of a terrorist organization without being a member." Source
Good move by Merkel, hope the prisoners are released.

In July, Turkish authorities arrested German human rights activist Peter Steudtner and nine others, charging them with "committing crimes in the name of a terrorist organization without being a member." | | | | | This phrasing is one for lawyers:
The main accusation here sounds to be acting in the name of a group one is not a member of. |

Good move by Merkel, hope the prisoners are released. | | | | | The arrest occured on 5th July.
Not sure why it took so long for her to protest.
Maybe because Merkel reads The Local? |
