The country has woken up. A referendum now and the whole brexit thing would be turned on its head.

Nevertheless, Monty Python is apt! | | | | | Hardly. I know my bandage from my bout. Also, not a joust. Perhaps you are confusing lance and sword?

| | Re: The Brexit referendum thread: potential consequences for GB, EU and the Brits in | Quote: | | | | | Perhaps the entire food distribution chain needs to understand the value and wisdom of everyone earning a living wage.
If the execs would take lower bonuses and consumers pay higher prices then food wouldn’t be rotting in the fields, as people would be willing to pick, at a living wage. | | | | | In an ideal world - yes, this should be happening. Wait till your compatriots have to pay the real price for their food, clothes, natural resources.
As a funny side note - I sewed one t-shirt some time ago, just out of curiosity and to prove myself I am able to do it. It took me a few days (yes, it was a hobby and have things to do that stay in the way of pursuing it). Btw, I'm still wearing it, its lifespan will be definitely longer than the one of any other t-shirt that I have ever purchased. lol
It kind of changes one's whole perspective on how much things should cost. ;-)

Certainly he will go down in history, that we all agree on, but how......
(Maybe we could have a referendum to decide ? )

Maybe in Barbara Cartland novels.

It's being reported that 'union sources' are willing to time strike action to coincide with, and disrupt the postal votes in a GE because...and I'm fuming about this...they believe that postal votes are mostly used by Conservative voters. |
