Really?Usually I heard f....g britons......mother fu.....s and variations of the sort.
Well, there are idiots everywhere.

IE is the only place I've ever been racially abused (as a 17 year old.... how big of the 40 something year old man who confronted me). I don't make sweeping judgements about the people at large as a result of a single event.

My dear,Im a jew,I have no love lost for Poland, whatever bad thing you can say about the country,i can say much worse, you dont hurt me by talking bad about Poland, for me,its just an EU passport.
Which is a bit unusual, I found Jewish people from Eastern Europe to be more patriotic than the EEs themselves, despite having suffered centuries of mistrust and humiliations..

Can I recommend you a few klezmer bands and you listen to their music and then we're all friends again?

Yup - and we have done an unusually large amount of positive stuff ...... and an unusually large amount of negative stuff.

Really I don't see the benefits of making value judgements about whole countries. Particularly when it comes as a result of judging what people who are long dead did. All its ever going to do is cause needless offence. I bet you don't like it when people go after Israel!

You are a bit like Basil Fawlty in "The Germans" - really just embarrassing yourself.

Lol, you would be expected to (joke)

seriously, I lived and worked in England and have good friends there but you cannot generalize and depict a country and its people as hateful only

The thing I am trying to point out is that the media and establishment constantly portray Brexit as getting back "sovereignty" which is understandable but as Britain is on the EU's doorstep and the fishing rights in UK waters have been given to the French and Dutch for centuries it is almost impossible to achieve true "freedom" or "sovereignty"

The UK cannot expect preferential treatment as it also sets a precedent for the future , for Switzerland for example
Personally I think the demands of the UK Government were pretty outrageous, keeping EU market access without compromises simply is not going to happen....

And it has the best cuisine. And the best looking women. Britain is, to behold, truly the land of the blessed. I read a book once called ‘oh, to be British’ by this continental chap who was listing himself as ‘polish’ to colleagues but his only real desire was to live in London and sing chas and Dave songs.

Of course not. Because it is exaggerated. But if I said that Germans and Russians aren't particularly loved back home, for example - it would be true.

As per sovereignty - that's a theoretical concept, anywhere. And it is a noble one. Like "free" when one is married. Or not yet. Or not anymore.

Well all the footageis genuine - the real McCoy.

How long did you live in the UK and in how many different locations? Because living on Mull is very different to living in London, Manchester, or Newcastle, or the Lake District, or .... etc, etc.
