She had to have security escort her while reporting. Is that a joke to you? Is it acceptable that news reporters in a Western Democracy face this kind of behaviour and have to live like this?
I don't "shoot the messenger" and go after news reporters who face impartiality requirements, and never have done when I was in politics.
Do you think my concerns are fake or invalid because I am right-of-centre. Can people on the right not have compassion or think something is morally wrong?
I get the impression you are a "Corbynista" - is this true? Complaining that a known labour supporter (Marr) is biased to the Tories is just bizzare.

Incidentally, my best guess would be that she is on the left. She lives in Shoreditch / Hackney way.
People on the right of politics tend to avoid living in that part of town like the plague. It has very few Conservative votes in local elections, Labour would outpoll Con nearly 10:1 - so statistically she is more likely to be Labour.

I live in a largely Tory area. This will come as a shock, I know, but I've never voted Conservative.

Manchester council has zero Conservative councillors!
I think all the Greater Manchester boroughs are labour controlled atm (I may be wrong but that is my recollection).

My guess would be that is where Rufus lives - it's heading Labour quite quickly. Swinging towards Labour in 2019 is a very bad sign.

Incidentally a friend, Chris Clarkson, very unexpectedly won his election in Greater Manchester - but I somehow doubt Rufus lives in the former mill town area he represents (Heywood and Middleton - Rochdale / Oldham way).

Is any of this really relevant to the Brexit discussion?

But it is a pity surely- why can't we discuss and not go on personal attacks all the time?
If Laura Kuensberg has had threats made against her, this is totally wrong. Accepting this does not make her less biased though.

| | | | | Nope - there are 2 lib dem councillors in Manchester and the rest are labour. The MPs are all Labour. Thus, you don't live in Manchester.
I imagine (as you aren't in Sale/Altringham) you are probably in Stockport Council? (either Cheadle or Hazel Grove seat) - which has the following composition:
Labour 26
Liberal Democrats 26
Conservatives 8
Independent Ratepayers 3

Why canīt we just be civil to each other and ignore a person if the comments are so abhorrent to someone?
Just my thoughts.
