Not so easy with agricultural exports, especially live.
Perhaps this link will help look out for the complexities, although I do not have links or knowledge of the publishers- it is very interesting https://www.politico.eu/article/carg...to-eu-markets/ | This user would like to thank Odile for this useful post:

I think that Britain never fully thought through the consequences of leaving the E.U. I think Britain joined the EU without thinking of ever leaving it. I'm curious and wondering what this would mean Ireland in particular. Will they set up a border? |

Yeah Ireland could leave but I don’t think they could afford to. They have a lot invested in the EU and the EU with them. Ireland also took the Euro currency so wouldn’t make any sense for them to just leave because Britain is leaving!

They could leave & still keep the Euro or use any other currency. | Quote: | | | | | And we are leaving it on a whim by Farage who ironically is still collecting his MEP salary and will likely get a life long pension after Brexit; all paid by the UK. | | | | | We are not, there was a referendum & the majority of people chose to leave. There was no vote before joining in 1973. The amount of pension is based on years of service as normal.....

I don't see much hysteria for the £50 billion that the UK government has spent keeping RBS solvent & saving 100,000 employees over 10 years. Makes a £50 billion. divorce bill seem like peanuts.

Back in the days before the open borders I used to drive trucks all over Europe. We ran using TIR and Carnet. Both system still exist and could be used quite easily.

Brexit success already!
Net migration to Britain fell by the largest amount on record in the 12 months after the Brexit vote, with more than three-quarters of the drop due to more EU citizens leaving and fewer arriving, official data showed on Thursday.
Net migration tumbled by 106,000 to 230,000 people in the 12 months to June, the Office for National Statistics (ONS) said.
The total fall in net migration was the largest since people moving to Britain started to outnumber those leaving in the 1980s Source |

To save money they are filling up trucks with their household possessions by getting 6 or 7 families together at a time. I would imagine that there will be a shortage of workers soon. But that will probably get sorted as things get finalised with Brexit - and there's no more work to do! So you see, it'll all work out in the end!! | This user would like to thank MadDad for this useful post:

Tom | | | | | It's a bullshit quiz. I got "hesitant European" despite clicking anti-EU answers.
I suspect it took the "I have personally benefited from the EU" and ran with it. I'm pretty sure I'd have benefited from apartheid, but that doesn't mean I support apartheid.
Typical BBC bullshit.
