Japan has signed trade deal with the EU, there are now no tariffs on Japanese cars. Cars can now be manufactured in Japan and shipped to the EU tariff free.
Whereas post Brexit, cars manufactured in the UK will likely face EU tariffs on export to the EU so their EU prices will be higher than than the same cars made in Japan despite higher Japanese incomes.

Project fear coming true.

EU-UK 1-0

Great exporting nation bla blah blah, so far all their exporting industries are collapsing. From cars to Boeing and beyond.

Unbelievable exercise in self harm but at this point even I would like a no deal, the country needs a lesson in humility and they won't stop at anything. Reminds of Japan in WW2, they wouldn't stop the killings until they got nuked. This is the civilized version.

Spare a thought for the people that didn’t vote for it, though.

The country does? Every last citizen, eh? I think you're confusing the people with the Government. Worrying analogy too.

LOL, Loz you are funny.
Now you are quoting a Conservative MP, Justin Tomlinson, the North Swindon Conservative MP, who is not at all biased in favour of Brexit

Honda have made it clear that it’s nothing to do with Brexit, and they are leaving by their own Accord.

Do you think they will ever own it? of course not, it will be a 'bungled' Brexit due to a remoaner conspiracy involving Theresa May, Olly Robbins, George Soros et al.

They have no shame or humility.

meanwhile Ford is being investigated over allegations involving escorts. And Vauxhall has been criticised for having a cavalier attitude about it. But I don't think one should make puns about car names. We need to be more prius.

"Honda has today announced it will restructure its global manufacturing network. This restructure comes as Honda accelerates its commitment to electrified cars, in response to the unprecedented changes in the global automotive industry. The significant challenges of electrification will see Honda revise its global manufacturing operations, and focus activity in regions where it expects to have high production volumes."

Is that not reason enough for you? Or is the fact they're not mentioning Brexit some sort of conspiracy? Perhaps the factory in Turkey is closing due to Brexit too?
