Re: Jeremy Corbyn refuses to denounce terrorist 'friends' Hamas and Hezbollah

Another Passover, another Labour blunder.

It's not a bug, it's a feature.

While we’re all clutching at our pearls, don’t forget about Diane Abbott’s blunder, too!

The UK is going to hell in a handcart, Brexit’s going tits up, the NHS is failing, 10s of thousands of kids in poverty and dozens of teenagers being stabbed in the capital but Jezza momentarily posted a pic of a loaf and Diane Abbott sneaks a cheeky Mojito on a commuter train. Everyone loses their mind.

Bit of perspective, eh?

Wasn’t really ‘whataboutery’, more of a piss-take at ‘the Labour Party has moved my cheese again’ type posts...

Get your idioms right - Labour didn't move the cheese, it dropped the ball.

Wasn’t talking about Labour, I was talking about the pearl clutchers losing their tiny minds over every time Corbyn farts and, ‘idiomatically’ it’s correct.

Seriously, I’m no fan of Corbyn but the knee-jerk hysteria over every microscopic move made by Labour dilutes your legitimate gripes.

But it is funny, though...

Labour (under Corbyn) made a mistake which could have been easily avoided.

If posting about it in a thread about Corbyn is Hysteria, so be it.

The problem today is it is all about posting/tweeting stuff to get quick perception points but nobody cares about accuracy any more.
Consequently people look stupid for about 30 seconds before the world moves on.
At the end of the day it is the result of voting that matters; question is how involved is the average voter in all this crap that should in reality drive their votes?

The tweet itself would be not much more than a 60 second joke, had it not been for Labour's appalling antisemitic record - now even the Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC) is likely to investigate them, same as BNP was.

Antisemitism is apparently not something the average UK voter cares much about and Corbyn's Labour is using this to it's advantage.

The UK politicians are a swamp of gormless f00kwits. Anti semitism can get in line and take its turn like all the other hot topics as well as all the other perpetually offended people.

That's a very simplistic view, not supported by facts.

I didn’t state it was a fact, it’s an opinion. If you are a big fan of UK politicians, that’s cool - maybe they’re fine old fellas compared to your home country, wherever that may be. I heard that Jezza’s not to everyone’s taste, though...

You use the word opinion the same way people who believe in conspiracies use the word "Theory". wrongly.

Politics is a job, you can't be good at it and be stupid.

Anyway - Every country gets the politicians it deserves.

Eh?

Yes you can. Stupidity being subjective, of course.

I think you’re putting too much importance on the word ‘f00kwits’ and a tweet about a loaf.

I’m flattered that you think I’m so invested in the thread.

Is the Israeli gov't still paying pro Israeli organisations and keeping people on its UK embassy payroll that drive smearing campaigns against politicians who are not favorable to the current Israel's agenda?
