Christina Grimmie (RIP)

Very sad to hear a young and talented singer Christina Grimmie was shot at a meet and greet in Orlando and died from her injuries earlier today. The gunman has killed himself.

I didn't know her and watched on YouTube. Very talented girl, what a loss, so young and horrible way to die.

Yes, such tragic way to go. Her last social media post showed how excited she was to perform in Orlando.. Will never understand why someone would do such a terrible thing. Another thing is.. I assumed there is a check for weapons for concerts/events.

I thought they did check you to make sure you do have a gun so you can defend yourself against any idiot who also has a gun.

Re: Christina Grimmie (RIP)

Well the killer has been identified as 27 year old Kevin Loibl who came to Orlando with the purpose of killing her. Christina's brother, who tackled him, is hailed a hero, since he likely avoided more people being hurt.

The police is checking his computer and phone hoping for any clues as to what made him want to kill her. Meanwhile, Christina's management has set up a gofundme page for her family https://www.gofundme.com/christinagrimmie.

The site is full of heartfelt messages by friends family and fans. One particular story that shows what a kind soul she was is the one where a fan reached out to Christina because her Mom had passed away and Christina replied in such beautiful way. RIP
