You mention Brevik, but his case was actually isolated, there have not been really any recent mass killings in the name of Right-wing groups before or after him, probably because there isn't any kind of mass "movement" to subscribe to. With Islamic jihadists there is a long and endless chain of attacks, because they have a movement and no shortage of recruits. It's a big problem, and we need to face it and think how to stop it, we shouldn't accept the new normal.

In the "good old days" of terrorism it was about drawing attention to your cause - the IRA used to ring in bomb warnings.

Now it is more about actually killing innocent people who reside in a country they have a beef with. In doing so they push the political stance further right.
