Poll: Will Trump win the 2020 elections?

Ok, a very long shot but I'm curious about the outcome.

Re: Poll: Will Trump win the 2020 elections?

FFS he hasn't even been sworn in yet. For most people it takes months to form an opinion if he's got what it takes.

Perhaps unless you're a believer, but that's neither (semi-)rational nor an opinion.

I think EF should introduce a quota on the number of polls/threads about US politics

Re: Poll: Will Trump win the 2020 elections?

I don't think Trump will run again in 2020. If the Trump presidency is bad, the NeverTrumpers will challenge him in the primary. He would drop out before going through that again.

If the Trump presidency goes well, I also think he'll drop out. I really don't think Trump wants to be 78 years old and still sitting in the Oval office. He'll claim his four years as a huge success, anoint a successor and ride off into the sunset.

Pretty much. As long as he's not dead, his name will be on the ballot. Given how well his parents and most of his siblings have aged, he's got a good chance to still be around.

Suppose the GOP don't nominate him, and he runs as independent.

That would pretty much be a first in US history.

That would pretty much be a first in US history.
It would also split the Conservative vote and guarantee a Democratic President.
