Pelosi is wise to proceed with caution, because all impeachment hearings will do is fill the news waves with even more Trump madness and further polarize the electorate.

Trump will be on the stand, he won't be able to hide any more, I think the site of him lying his fat ass off and attempting to bluster his way through it will be a powerful and long-lasting image.
Imagine if he ended up in a 'I never had sexual relations with that woman' moment

No Trump on the stand, etc. https://www.lawfareblog.com/can-sena...peachment-case | The following 4 users would like to thank 3Wishes for this useful post:

The British way, no need for vile insults by tweet! | Quote: | | | | Former British Prime Minister Theresa May recommended the ex-British ambassador that called President Trump “inept” become a lord.
May released her resignation honors list Tuesday which includes appointing former ambassador Kim Darroch to the House of Lords.
Queen Elizabeth II is expected to honor the nominee along with the others on May’s list in keeping with the British tradition.

And another one's out the door.
"US President Donald Trump has fired his National Security Advisor John Bolton.
"I informed John Bolton last night that his services are no longer needed at the White House," he wrote.
"I disagreed strongly with many of his suggestions," Mr Trump wrote, adding that a new national security adviser would be appointed next week.
The firing comes amid reports of divisions in the Trump cabinet over a cancelled peace plan to invite the Taliban to the US." https://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-49655279 | This user would like to thank Medea Fleecestealer for this useful post:

Trump's campaign boast that he would surround himself with the very best people has proven empty!
Bolton was his third national security adviser and this a job where you really need the same person and team for the duration!
Trump is facing a possible war with Iran without a permanent Pentagon head.
A problem with immigration over the Southern Border with no permanent DHS head.
Around 40% of Government positions requiring Senate confirmation are empty; most without any nominated candidate.
Meanwhile two FEMA officials have been arrested on bribery, fraud charges from power restoration in Puerto Rico; so much for Trumps claims that the big problem was Puerto Rican corruption.

Just now, President@realDonaldTrump honored 11 incredible patriots, each of whom stepped forward to save lives in the face of violence and hatred last month in Dayton and El Paso. | | | | | Seems one of the "patriots" (50-year-old Chris Grant of Texas) was arrested by the Secret Service Monday at the White House entrance for an outstanding warrant.
Grant's mother attended a White House event Monday in his stead and accepted a signed certificate during a ceremony honoring Grant and others.
Police reportedly dispute Grant's account of the events.
Bizzare!!

Trump promoting the "avoid paying debts" route as usual!¨ | Quote: | | | | Donald J. Trump@realDonaldTrump
The Federal Reserve should get our interest rates down to ZERO, or less, and we should then start to refinance our debt.
INTEREST COST COULD BE BROUGHT WAY DOWN, while at the same time substantially lengthening the term. We have the great currency, power, and balance sheet.....
