Seems a senior terrorist leader was killed in Syria from that group you have several times claimed were completely defeated.

When was the last time something like this wasn't done for the optics?
Even UBL was killed for the optics. He was holed up in a large house in Pakistan with no cell-phone service.
Obama was the king of optics.
Trump is just the king of negative rep with the press and intellectuals ;-)
But as the world is full of dumb idiots who are still allowed to vote, guess which strategy is more successful in the long run?
