So Trumps dramatic account of Baghdadi's last moments was an invention!

Do you think there are people left in the US who think this matters?

Hollywood has long since taken over the minds of people.

If it doesn't look like a Hollywood Blockbuster, people think it's fake.

There has to be a story. There has to be drama. And like any good Greek tragedy, there has to be catharsis.

Stop doubting the great man.

We all know that he got Baghdadi on Facetime, and just as he was about to pull the cord on his suicide vest, Donald shouted "You're Fired".
Its about time. I would like him to fire even more CIA opperatives.

Apparently, the thing about the metadata was corrected and the timeline seems to be correct.

https://www.blick.ch/news/ausland/im...d15587928.html

There was certainly no audio or video in the tunnels though.
and the idea that it was staged wasn't inspired by the metadata, it was because it looks so bleedin obviously staged and past experience shows it's exactly the sort of dick move he would do.

Of course there is drama and use for PR and propaganda but reactions also shows that the who is more important than the what.

Why? What are you up to that the CIA would take an interest in?

Like any good Greek tragedy it is the lead character's flaws that drive remorselessly to the inevitable conclusion

And why did they reduce the compound to rubble?
https://www.rferl.org/a/syria-islami.../30240403.html

And when will they show the film to back up Trumps description of events

"'Even more' CIA opperatives (sic)"... because al-Baghdadi was actually working for the CIA?

Re: Will Trump be a Good President?

Evermore impeachment evidence piling up against Trump; still unlikely for the GOP Senate to turn against him.....

Another huge tweet storm complaining about the House and their progress.

Quote:
The fight over the Pentagon’s $10 billion “war cloud” contract is entering a new phase after the Department of Defense (DOD) awarded the lucrative contract to Microsoft over rival Amazon in a shocking move.

All eyes are now on Amazon, which is seen as likely to take the fight over the Pentagon’s decision to court or before the government’s top auditing office.

Democrats and industry watchers are raising the possibility that the process was swayed by President Trump, who publicly called on the DOD to investigate the contract over the summer.
Trump questioned if the process unfairly favored Amazon, long seen as the front-runner.
Source

Unpleasant behaviour by Trump but
it will be difficult for Amazon to prove bias.

The question is "can Trump hang on to his base in coal mining states?".

Yeah. They don't believe things 'til they happen and then they still call it fake news.

The House on Tuesday easily approved sanctions against Turkey over its offensive in northern Syria against Kurdish forces.

The measure passed 403-16, with 176 Republicans voting in support and just 15 opposing the bill.

The sanctions offer a rare bipartisan rebuke of President Trump's policies while underscoring the growing divide between Congress and a NATO ally.

Let us hope the Senate also run with this!
No doubt we can look forward to some tweets.

Faux News hosts and talking heads and Spanky attack purple heart recipient Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman with questions of his partisanship, loyalty to the US and suggestions of espionage.

It makes me wonder if it's possible to be a patriot and a trump supporter, I mean, you have to be ok with this behavior if you still support him.

I would suggest not - it is possible (indeed almost necessary) to be a Nationalist and a supporter, but not to be a Patriot.

It demonstrates their inability to come up with a proper defense of Trump's actions.
"Play the ball not the player".

Now there has been a lot of blowback on this and some critics have withdrawn or modified their invalid attacks.

Edit:
Quote:
A White House official who testified in front of the House on Tuesday as part of its impeachment investigation reportedly said the White House’s rough transcript of a July phone call between President Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky left out key words and phrases.

Three people familiar with the situation told The New York Times that Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman testified to congressional investigators that among the omissions were Trump’s assertions that there were recordings of former Vice President Joe Biden discussing Ukrainian corruption and a reference by Zelensky to Burisma Holdings, the energy company on whose board Biden’s son sat.

Re: Will Trump be a Good President?

Hilarious, tragic and scary in equal measures.

https://twitter.com/jimmykimmel/stat...-presidents%2F

Even if they did selectively juxtapose various sections for maximum comedy, the content alone is STILL jaw-dropping from the Trump side.
