Angry old man* telling a teenager to chill. Maybe we should invite him over on EF?
*No, I'm playing it down now. The USA president at that. Just....wow.
Might be because of the dopamine-induced loop by Twitter....

US Reports that the US and China have reached an initial trade deal were met with silence in Beijing where officials declined to confirm whether an agreement had been made. Nevertheless, all US Stock markets hit record highs.
We can only wait and see.
Meanwhile, Trump may have broken his personal record of the number of tweets in a day yesterday; mostly retweets moaning about impeachment.
The Dems delayed their impeachment vote until today so it could be on TV.
A Friday story; a business-backed trade group, called the Pass USMCA Coalition, established to back President Trump’s United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA) has backed off from calling for USMCA to be signed following compromises made by the White House in its negotiations with House Democrats.

The Wall Street Journal story on the China Deal is completely wrong, especially their statement on Tariffs.
Fake News. They should find a better leaker!

We have agreed to a very large Phase One Deal with China. They have agreed to many structural changes and massive purchases of Agricultural Product, Energy, and Manufactured Goods, plus much more.
The 25% Tariffs will remain as is, with 7 1/2% put on much of the remainder
The Penalty Tariffs set for December 15th will not be charged because of the fact that we made the deal. We will begin negotiations on the Phase Two Deal immediately, rather than waiting until after the 2020 Election.
This is an amazing deal for all. Thank you! | | | | | This time Chinese officials announced that agreement had been reached on text for the nine-part deal. The text has not been released so details are not known.
The exact situation on tariffs is confused and not helped by Trump's tweet which is contradictory. So about the Penalty Tariffs set for December 15th; will they not be charged or will be charged but at 7.5%, not the original planned 15%.

| | Re: Will Trump be a Good President? Even Fox News; poll with Interviews conducted December 8-11, 2019
Trump approval 45%, disapproval 53%
Trump has been successful revising trade deals with other countries; Yes 42%, No 48%
Building a wall along the U.S.-Mexico border? Favor 44%, Oppose 52%
Do you think President Trump should be impeached and removed from office; Yes 50%, No 46%

The @foxnewPolls, always inaccurate, are heavily weighted toward Dems. So ridiculous - same thing happened in 2016. They got it all wrong.

So Trump now saying that the IG report (which he claims proves he was right about the imaginary conspiracy against him) can’t be believed? | Quote: | | | | Donald J. Trump@realDonaldTrump
As bad as the I.G. Report is for the FBI and others, and it is really bad, remember that I.G. Horowitz was appointed by Obama.
There was tremendous bias and guilt exposed, so obvious, but Horowitz couldn’t get himself to say it.
Big credibility loss. Obama knew everything!

I don't know what is more relevant news: Democrats finally found a reason for impeachment or Hillary's presidential facelift?

| | Re: Will Trump be a Good President? | Quote: | | | | | I don't know what is more relevant news: Democrats finally found a reason for impeachment or Hillary's presidential facelift? | | | | | They did not find a reason, there was a credible whistleblower complaint thrust on them.
Chances of a fair Senate trial seem to be remote with several Senators saying they have made up their minds and will not listen to the evidence. In that case, how will history remember the GOP senators; as brave warriors or as corrupt politicians who broke their oath of office?
After all of the GOP pretending to cry about quoting a minor [Barron] in a political statement, Trump said last night; | Quote: | | | | “I could have Barron Trump go into Central Park and he’d get a crowd,” Trump said at the rally in Battle Creek, Mich. "He’d get a bigger crowd,” than Warren." | | | | | I expect Melania will tweet a complaint
Meanwhile, five senior Pentagon officials have resigned in the last seven days; probably nothing to do with Trump.

| | Re: Will Trump be a Good President?
Interesting coincidence, given Trump's 180-degree turnaround on his friendship with Bill Clinton:
Trump was impeached on 18 December 2019.
Clinton was impeached on 19 December 1998.
Sadly, although Clinton was impeached in his second term, Trump can't claim to have been impeached faster than any president in history, as Andrew Johnson was impeached at the end of the third year of his first (and only) term. Trump is already into the fourth year of his.
