Russia, Syria, and Iran are killing, or on their way to killing, thousands if inocent civilians in Idlib Province.
Don’t do it! Turkey is working hard to stop this carnage.
3:12 PM · Dec 26, 2019 | | | | | "if inocent" Does Spanky mean they are not killing the "not in[n]ocent" civilians?
He caused this by pulling the US troops and Turkey has no qualms about killing civilians, "inocent" or not!

Approval Rating in Republican Party = 95%, a Record!
Overall Approval Rating = 51%.
Think of where I’d be without the never ending, 24 hour a day, phony Witch Hunt, that started 3 years ago!
8:14 PM · Dec 15, 2019 | | | | | The "Overall Approval Rating = 51%" came from the Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll, Trump's favourite poll.
Sadly today, Friday, December 27, 2019; the Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll shows that only 46% of Likely U.S. Voters approve of President Trump’s job performance. Fifty-three percent (53%) disapprove.
The latest figures include 35% who Strongly Approve of the job Trump is doing and 44% who Strongly Disapprove. This gives him a Presidential Approval Index rating of -9.

US Federal Reserve bank study of Trump's tariffs to help US manufacturing shows they had the opposite effect! | Quote: | | | | We find that tariff increases enacted in 2018 are associated with relative reductions in manufacturing employment and relative increases in producer prices.
In terms of manufacturing employment, rising input costs and retaliatory tariffs each contribute to the negative relationship, and the contribution from these channels more than offsets a small positive effect from import protection. | | | | | Source
They say because of globally interconnected supply chains, tariffs can have impacts through channels beyond their traditional effect of limiting import competition.
The Institute for Supply Management said that its factory-activity index fell for the fourth successive month in November to 48.1 from 48.3 a month earlier, falling from 60.8 in August 2018.
A reading below 50 indicates contraction. Source |

There is one missing from the first one.

Politico magazine which is considered to be in the centre has an article " How Will History Books Remember the 2010s?"
They asked 23 top historians to write the paragraph that will describe the past decade, 100 years from now.
An interesting variety of views, neither Trump nor Obama come out well!

| | Re: Will Trump be a Good President? | Quote: | | | | | | | | | | Probably not unconnected to Pelosi's psychological warfare pressure by delaying the delivery of the impeachment documents? His tweets have evermore grammatical and spelling errors consequently he has deleted an average of more than one tweet per day since 23rd Dec.
Dow fell almost 200 points yesterday due to the continued uncertainty about the China trade war. In Mid October Trump tweeted " The Phase One Deal can be finalized & signed soon!" but no details yet and no date set for the signing.
Meanwhile, Lev Parnas, an indicted associate of President Trump’s personal lawyer Rudy Giuliani, plans to turn over his iPhone data and other documents to the House Intelligence Committee, his lawyer announced Monday.
“We’ve asked the Court for permission to give the contents of Lev Parnas’s iPhone and other documents—to be produced to the defense by DOJ tomorrow—to the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence #HPSCI for use in the impeachment inquiry,” he wrote.
The information is expected to reveal more links between the State Department, Guiliani and Ukraine officals.

Now Iran's Supreme Leader is resorting to Twitter to attack Trump. | Quote: | | | | Khamenei.ir@khamenei_ir
That guy has tweeted that we see Iran responsible for the events in Baghdad & we will respond to Iran.
1st: You can’t do anything.
2nd: If you were logical —which you’re not— you’d see that your crimes in Iraq, Afghanistan… have made nations hate you. | Quote: | | | | Donald J. Trump@realDonaldTrump
....Iran will be held fully responsible for lives lost, or damage incurred, at any of our facilities. They will pay a very BIG PRICE! This is not a Warning, it is a Threat. Happy New Year! | | | | | | | | | | "That guy" LOL!
World leaders sparring in Twitter, who ever would have thought it.

2020 starting well! Not one tweet from Trump; Null, null!
Despite Donnie's claims that he had done a wonderful job of protecting the US Embassy in Iraq the videos show a lot of damage
Good nobody was killed.
Donnie also failed to mention he deployed the US Embassy emergency defence group created by Obama; this Special Purpose Marine Air-Ground Task Force Crisis Response-Central Command is based in Kuwait.

IIRC, Twitter has long since been banned in Iran.
So, there's always a special irony when the head-honcho skirts the ban to take part in a twitter-match with the head of another state (that they still don't talk to directly but let Switzerland handle the consular affairs...).
I still maintain that the US and Iran leaders (and their politically/religiously aligned followers) hate each other not because they are so different but because they are so very similar.

In the face of warnings from the Pentagon that the hold on military aid to Ukraine could be illegal. | Quote: | | | | An official from the Office of Management and Budget made it clear that the order to keep the freeze in place came directly from President Donald Trump
Among the documents [released under Freedom of information Laws] viewed by Just Security, a website focusing on reporting and analysis of national security law and policy, was an August 30 email from Michael Duffey, associate director of national security programs at OMB to Elaine McCusker, the acting Pentagon comptroller, stating the freeze on aid to Ukraine would continue at the explicit direction of the President despite growing legal concerns within the Pentagon and mounting external questions prompted by news of the hold becoming public just days prior. | | | | | |
