[url]I am not a Trump fanboy but he's not anti-gay.
To give you one tangible example:
Quote:
The Trump administration opened the door Wednesday to permitting government contractors to discriminate against LGBT employees with a proposed rule that frames the issue as protecting companies’ religious beliefs.
With Switzerland's recent ballot measuring protecting against LGB discrimination, it's now more liberal than much of the US in this respect. Where it's still legal to fire someone over their sexual orientation in many states. The Trump admin is on the front lines of the ongoing political and cultural fight in the US, both in executive actions and in the judges he is appointing.

The longest-lasting effect will be the judges.
Quote:
A third of the more than 50 circuit court judges nominated by President Donald Trump since he took office nearly three years ago have a “demonstrated history of anti-LGBTQ bias,” according to a new report by LGBTQ civil rights group Lambda Legal, which asserts that the justice system is “now indisputably in a state of crisis.”

NBC News and MSNBC national political correspondent Steve Kornacki says the 2020 race for the Democratic presidential nomination could come down to Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) and former South Bend, Ind., Mayor Pete Buttigieg if support for former Vice President Joe Biden collapses.
Karma if Trump was impeached for attacking a weak Dem Presidential candidate.

Meanwhile Obamas-produced film 'American Factory' wins the best documentary Oscar and Greta is nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize for a second time.
Stand by for a load of sour grapes tweets.

Not a great fan of Bloomberg (I have to work with his stuff ) but it's quite a nice video.

But well, even a trained wild ape would be a better president than the dotard occupying white house at the moment..

Re: Will Trump be a Good President?

Just LOL!
Quote:
Senate Budget Committee Chairman Mike Enzi (R-Wyo.) said he will not hold a hearing on President Trump's proposed fiscal 2021 budget.

Nobody has listened to the president in the 23 years that I've been here. Congress doesn't pay attention to the president's budget exercise." Enzi said during a floor speech.

"Congress doesn't pay any attention to the president's budget exercise. It's all it is — an exercise. Congress holds the purse strings, according to the Constitution, and Congress is very protective of that constitutional authority," Enzi continued.
Source

Enzi, of course, is retiring so he can afford to be brave and speak the truth.

Meanwhile, some GOP Senators are promoting the view that Federal employees must be loyal to Trump to keep their jobs
Quote:
Several GOP senators on Monday defended the ousters of two key impeachment inquiry witnesses, arguing that they weren't loyal to President Trump.
Source

So the up to half of Federal employees who voted for Hillary should go?

Re: Will Trump be a Good President?

Hearing the news on the radio, I just realized what I find is so wrong with choosing presidents in the US.
There are these masses, hollering and screaming like a bunch of hooligans at the football game.
It's weird. I've not noticed this kind of behaviour in politics anywhere in Europe (correct me if I'm wrong). And not even SVP behaves like that. LOL.

So basically they seem to have one funfair after the other while the candidates show up in town and the one who caused the biggest mass hysteria wins the goblet.

Swiss politics should maybe also be like that. Instead of these sterilized Swiss politicians!

Conservative lawyer and prominent Trump critic George Conway suggested this week that the House may need to impeach President Trump again.

Conway wrote in a Washington Post opinion piece Monday that Trump’s firing of two witnesses who testified in the House impeachment inquiry could justify a second impeachment.

Clearly you've no experience with Italian politics.

The dems should stop embarrassing themselves, get their act together and focus on selecting a decent candidate. They are so obsessed with Trump that they can't see the mess they are in. What's next? Impeach him for being orange?!

Ah yeah! LOL. Was it them who beat each other up in session? Or was it the Spanish? I don't remember. And it just crossed my mind that the Brits ain't any better in session.

But I meant more the voters during election time, actually.

Re: Will Trump be a Good President?

Trump's takeover of DOJ almost complete, Justice Department's traditional independence from political pressure is practically over.
Quote:
Top Justice Department officials are overruling their own federal prosecutors who recommended that longtime Donald Trump confidant Roger Stone get up to nine years in prison, a senior department official said Tuesday, in a stunning and politically charged move.

The senior official said that that sentencing recommendation, transmitted to a judge and signed off on by the office's top prosecutor, had not been communicated to leadership at the Justice Department.

The revised sentencing memorandum comes hours after President Donald Trump publicly criticized the recommendation.

That was George Conway who suggested a second impeachment. He was short-listed by Trump for the post of US Solicitor General and afterwards for another role at the DoJ... he's far from a Democrat. He just understands how dangerous and destructive Trump is.
