And for that reason alone he may not do them. | | | | | Just curious, which of the promises do you think make no sense and why?

What's the point of popular vote in the US?

Same as here pretty much (except that here they aren't bound for the first round as they are in the US)

It isn't Monday morning without a butthurt tweet from a billionaire living in a 58th floor penthouse proclaiming himself a victim.

Tom | | | | | Ok, but what's the point of saying that Hillary won the popular vote? http://www.independent.co.uk/news/wo...-a7451661.html |

Looks like Trump is cutting out the professional media middleman. Some of them may have to get real jobs. And Le Pen is trying to figure out how to follow suit.
This is a game change.

| | Re: Will Trump be a Good President? | Quote: | | | | | Just curious, which of the promises do you think make no sense and why? | | | | | Here are some of them | Quote: | | | | 1. Build a wall along the southern border
2. Make Mexico pay for the wall. If Mexico refuses, then the United States will impound all remittance payments taken from the wages of illegal immigrants, cut foreign aid, institute tariffs, cancel visas for Mexican business leaders and diplomats, and increase fees for visas, border-crossing cards and port use.
3. Get rid of Common Core because it's "a disaster" and a "very bad thing."
4. The Environmental Protection Agency might also disappear.
5. Get rid of Obamacare and replace it with something "terrific" that is "so much better, so much better, so much better."
6. Be unpredictable. "No one is going to touch us, because I'm so unpredictable."
7. Knock down the regulatory walls between states for health insurance, making plans available nationally instead of regionally.
8. Rebuild the country's aging infrastructure -- especially bridges and airports that look like they belong in a third-world country -- for one-third of what the United States is currently paying for such projects.
9. Save Medicare, Medicaid and Social Security without cutting benefits.
10. Defund Planned Parenthood.
11. "I will take care of women, and I have great respect for women.
12. Strengthen the military
13. Temporarily ban most foreign Muslims from entering the United States
14. Bar Syrian refugees from entering the country and kick out any who are already living here.
15. Heavily surveil mosques in the United States.
16. Pick Supreme Court justices who are "really great legal scholars."
17. Never take a vacation while serving as president.
18. Prosecute Hillary Clinton for her use of a private e-mail server while serving as secretary of state.
19. Make medical marijuana widely available to patients
20. Stop spending money on space exploration
21. Pick Supreme Court justices who are "really great legal scholars." | | | | | He is certainly keeping number 6. | The following 2 users would like to thank marton for this useful post: | |

And you think most of them don't make sense?
I think a lot of them have quite a bit of merit.

They are trying to enlarge the White House press briefing room to accommodate hundreds of more people. It seems like Bannon will be allowing in an army of deplorable trolls. Corporate media will be competing with blogger personalities.
The asymmetry of this doesn't bode well for MSM.
