CNN is depraved:

Why so sensitive, snowflake? They're just reporting on lines of succession and an existing worst case scenario plan.

No less creepy or "depraved" than the official Trump Inauguration twitter posting this some weeks back.

A lot of people in the US are very anxious at the moment. Its somewhat irresponsible to imply that, "by the way, should you succeed in assassinating Trump, Obama gets to pick the successor". :roll eyes: I don't see any socially redeeming value in broadcasting that message with tensions so high. It just pumps people up, which they have been doing since Trump has been elected.

It's over, get over it, we're getting a new president, move on.

Too many people watching "designated survivor".

Not at all, that is your side that would call for such a thing. A moral compass, a little discretion, some rational thinking, in lieu of whipping up and spreading their sorry ass sentiments.

You can change the channel, you can't change the president-elect. I'd say he has bigger sway on what sentiments are whipped up inside the country. Anyone who is planning nefarious acts on inauguration day was going to do it whether CNN ran that report or not. Your president-elect has insulted half the country (and the world) in some way before he even took office, and a fact-based CNN report is where you find your depravity and scandal.

"Maybe the 2nd Amendment people can do something about Hillary." - all good, "hilarious", in jest.

Reporting facts that may be interpreted in one way or another - depraved.

Trump deserves his criticism, and CNN deserves theirs.

That's the whole thing I love about this situation and "fact based journalism". It's so freakin hilarious.

This exactly is what confirmation bias is all about.

Be totally comfortable when your side does something but be totally outraged when the other side does exactly the same.

If you think the two cases are remotely comparable, that's your bias talking. And I don't get outraged over these things like some SJW snowflake. ;-p

Re: Will Trump be a Good President?

Last night the Senate finance committee learned Mnuchin (Trump's treasury secretary pick) had initially failed to disclose he was a director of Dune Capital International, an investment fund incorporated in the Cayman Islands, a tax haven.

He also omitted other assets, including $95m in real estate and $906,556 worth of artwork held by his children.

His excuse was "these forms were very complicated".

I suppose running the US Treasury does not involve anything complex.

Re: Will Trump be a Good President?

Listening to Jon Voight's speech. This is weirdly awkward for such a normally polished actor. It doesn't sound genuine.
