I saw the ad but found it not completely credible. The images presented included Trump walking with paper stuck on his shoe and other unique mannerisms that don't necessarily imply an illness.

I agree the paper on the shoe was amusing but not really relevant.
Mannerisms could well be relevant?

Re: Will Trump be a Good President?

Quote:
President Trump solicited Chinese President Xi Jinping's assistance in winning reelection, according to a forthcoming book from former White House national security adviser John Bolton.

Bolton describes an exchange that took place at the Group of 20 (G-20) summit in June in his new book, "The Room Where it Happened."
Source

Trump is suing Bolton and his publishers to stop publication of the book, one ground is asking the court to declare that Bolton’s account of his time as a top Trump adviser from April 2018 to September 2019 violated his nondisclosure agreement. Surprising as I believed Federal employees are not allowed to conform to nondisclosure agreements.

A lot of other startling claims in the book like Trump thought it would be cool to invade Venezuela, he paints a picture of a presidency driven by impulse and ignorance of foreign policy.

Anyway probably too late to put this cork back in the bottle; it has been distributed to warehouses which probably includes foreign-based that are outside US laws. Plus sent to reviewers who under First Amendment rights can tell what they read which is already happening, the New York Times and The Washington Post obtained copies of the book, set to be published on Tuesday, while The Wall Street Journal published an excerpt.

According to the Post, Bolton described a scene where Trump also railed against reporters — at one point saying that journalists should be jailed if they did not reveal their sources. “These people should be executed. They are scumbags,” Trump is quoted as saying.

Other allegations
Trump told Xi to go ahead with the internment of Muslims in China
Trump was apparently surprised that the United Kingdom — one of America’s closest allies — had nuclear weapons during a meeting with former British Prime Minister Theresa May in 2018. “Oh, are you a nuclear power?” Trump said, according to Bolton.
Bolton claims in the book that Trump told China’s Xi that Americans wanted him to get rid of the two-term limit imposed on presidents by the US Constitution.

In a statement Tuesday, the American Civil Liberties Union said the lawsuit is “doomed to fail”.

Ben Wizner, the director of the organization’s speech, technology and privacy project, said the supreme court had rejected a half-century ago the Nixon administration’s efforts to block the release of the Pentagon Papers, and said it is well-established that prior restraints on publication are unconstitutional.

Good news from the Supreme Court, DACA not terminated.

I think it is the US Government (Justice Department) that is suing Bolton, not Trump. Why should he waste his money when he has the resources of the US Government to waste.

These horrible & politically charged decisions coming out of the Supreme Court are shotgun blasts into the face of people that are proud to call themselves Republicans or Conservatives.

The sore loser!

Actually an interesting situation with DACA. The argument that GOP deploys for conservative judges is that they follow the letter of the law whereas they claim liberal judges interpret and change the laws.

The majority opinion, written by Roberts, was careful to note that Trump can roll back DACA, just not in the way that it did.

“The dispute before the Court is not whether DHS may rescind DACA. All parties agree that it may," the Chief Justice wrote. "The dispute is instead primarily about the procedure the agency followed in doing so.”

The four dissenting conservative judges did not try to claim that the DHS had correctly followed the procedure to rescind DACA so they should have supported the majority decision.

Well, that's a tyrant for you... People aren't allowed to criticize them. Trump uses his Twitter account as a means of bullying people and repeatedly lies and twists the truth, and yet when a book is written about him that casts him in a bad light, he throws a tantrum about it.

And I thought it was us liberals who are the "snowflakes."

Finally Facebook acts
Quote:
Facebook on Thursday took down Trump campaign ads against antifa that prominently featured a symbol used by Nazis to designate political prisoners, a spokesperson for the company confirmed to The Hill.

“We removed these posts and ads for violating our policy against organized hate," Facebook said in a statement.

"Our policy prohibits using a banned hate group's symbol to identify political prisoners without the context that condemns or discusses the symbol.”

Re: Will Trump be a Good President?

If Donald Trump was to be built as a machine, it would take a complicated construction of tubes and cylinders, of pressure chambers and drive pistons to imitate the constant flow of compression and decompression. Inside and outside, attack and counter-attack, friend and foe: when the Trump machine is under particularly high pressure, it needs this special valve, which can release pressure on the one hand and absorb new steam on the other. They are currently building this machine. In Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Re: Will Trump be a Good President?

So Trump shares a video on Twitter that was doctored to say it had been originally reported on CNN as a black toddler running away from a racist white toddler, and Trump and the video claim it was CNN reporting fake news because the toddlers were actually best friends. The video shared by Trump was also trying to warn people about the danger of fake news.

So Trump uses that to try to accuse CNN of spreading fake news, when IN REALITY, this is what CNN had actually posted -- a video showing the two toddlers as being best friends:

https://edition.cnn.com/2019/09/10/u...rnd/index.html

Talk about backfiring. There Trump had tried to accuse CNN of spreading fake news when in reality, it's HIM that is spreading fake news. He shared a video that was intentionally doctored to make it appear that CNN was spreading fake news when in truth they had done the very opposite.

He should really do the world a favor and delete his Twitter account.

Re: Will Trump be a Good President?

In his tweet, he used the word "protesting" in general. He talks about Constitutional rights when it benefits him or appeals to his followers and tries to accuse liberals of being a threat to the Constitution, and yet he just tweeted a threat that anyone protesting in Oklahoma during his rally will be met with force. The First Amendment protects people's rights to protest.

----
"Amendment I

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances."

@Pancakes

Agreed.

How Trump will arrange that anyone protesting in Oklahoma during his rally will be met with force is not known.

Trump has no control over the local police force.

Maybe he is planning to fly in his own storm troopers?
