Find an some celebrity for a term, realise how bad it is and go again.

The title of this thread is quite clear.

So who is the mob and how are they exposed?

Indeed. So blaming the candidates is futile.

It's a big reason why voter turnout has been poor as well, a feeling of futility from the process. To say nothing of voter fraud, perpetual redrawing of voting districts or the corrupt delegate system

I would focus on local elections and clean the cesspool from the bottom up

I think the mob exposing itself is something to do with obscuring the legality of an action.
One person exposing themselves - Flasher
A anonymous mass of people exposing themselves - Performance art.

Hillary was not so bad, she scored more votes than Trump.
If she wasn't an ex-president's wife....maybe. Don't you think people are getting tired of nepotism and dynasties?

I think Dems are using him as a pawn. Hoping he won't last more than a few months after the elections. Or that he will let them do whatever.
I don't like Trump but I draw the line at wishing him a short life.

Yes, I'm sure I saw someone on Fox News angrily talking about that. Or was it 21st Century Fox...?

I think it was multiple channels when Trump placed his children in positions of power.
Or it was on ABC and and dove into topics including Moldavian terrorists interrupting weddings with a background of oil money.

I cannot believe Dems really thought Biden through. Even if he gets voted in, I don't think it will be bad, though, things will calm a little, Reps will come back. Until then, Trump is exposing a lot of the mob, causing enough damage to it.
I disagree . It’s quite smart on their part. Biden is sufficiently undefinable that he is to everybody what they want him to be . He doesn’t have rough edges . He doesn’t easily make enemies , maybe because nobody can actually figure out what he’s doing , but his amicable disposition Leads them to believe it’s ok . This is largely why Obama picked him as a VP . Biden largely left him alone and didn’t distract from the POTUS baking in his own glory .

So the question remains open, if Biden wins, will we be seeing more of the dopey Joe , bumbling along and not doing very much . Or will he be hi jacked by some of the angrier elements of the Dem party who we have seen and heard so much of lately .

Just as the Americans elected Dubya Bush thinking they were getting a happy but low energy dopey caretaker president who wasn’t going to do or change very much , only to find they had got Cheney .

Bait and switch . It always works

I get your line of thoughts but 2 things. Proposing Hillary meant losing elections, I think more people would agree with this than not now, and that's progress. They can't risk so much again and are the same people. While Obama's Biden isn't Biden today. It is really obvious that he's some future deputy of somebody else, again. He just impersonates such a typical non-leader to me, although maybe it's just me. Trump causes intensity, people come for more, he is clever. Biden puts me to sleep.

I think Hillary might actually have won against somebody like Ted Cruz, Marco Rubio, Rick Santorum or Carly Fiorina, whose talking points and policies were all so generic back in the 2016 primaries that you would struggle to put any particular traits to any of them. Trump's entry into the race was the big disruptive factor here.

I think the Dems came to realize that Hillary made herself too many enemies and ticked too many people off, so they decided to run with the opposite now, an apparently totally likeable and harmless candidate who nobody can possibly be afraid of and who will spend his White Hours years bumbling from minor blunder to minor blunder all while being liked by everybody and doing nothing of any importance.

And they might have got away with it, if they wouldn't keep on talking about radical change at the same time.

Somewhere Gerald Ford is relieved that a candidate comes off dopier than him - Biden's miscues & gaffes are oscar worthy. Seach on YT, staggering really

THIS is the best the Democrats could/would muster against a clown like Trump

No, they had better candidates but it seems only a minority was interested in supporting a woman or a gay man.

I don't think that they might have gotten away with it, people want more, they are used to getting more for their bucks or attention span. While I wouldn't hold the radical anything against them, they had to come up with "radical change" to appeal to those who oppose Trump's "let's simply get back to solid work and elbow grease". They reacted, not acted. It gives Trump an advantage. Biden doesn't promise any real action, they are again recycled reactions. Trump is proactive - local governance, WHO, China, restructuring US military investments abroad..What I fear is that we will have to reconsider our threats we are dealing with here. No more US or Nato saviors.
